CW costing us money?

It stinks for optics, but although its not a normal sports channel, we are the top25 matchup at the time, so folks will search it out. Lets hope its actually a huge viewership and payday.

Edit: nevermind, uga vs tenn is at 330 on abc. Lol. No one will watch ours outside of fan bases!!!

USF beating UF last week made the CW less of an issue. It’s now a top 20 matchup that people will seek out.

Most people are streaming these days. Everyone but the boomers is capable of finding the games they want to watch. Most real cfb fans will have multiple screens going.

I’d argue Georgia-Tenn on abc at the same time actually helps for the acc rev share. The bars/restaurants with 1 or 2 TVs will be tuned into that, not whatever other ACC game is going on at the time.

Finally, CW is getting hyped up (kinda as a joke) by all the cfb podcasts. They got Baylor-smu and this game back to back.

Sure, you’d rather be on espn. But CW is fine for a week.

You're calling people idiots for correcting the OP, and "arguing" on a message board? Weird how people have to "find" the CW but you know what shows are playing on it. People that want to find UM vs USF are gonna flip through channels and see its not on a regular sports channel, then Google is and flip to CW. This aint the 90s. Hes also wrong about viewer/revenue because it only counts for ACC games, not OOC. So, yes...we arent ****ed, we're correcting his post.
 
We will be a top 7-8 most watched game this weekend. Might even creep into the top 5 due to ppl loving to root for us to lose.

I didn’t actually watch the USF/UF game until the 4th qtr where it became clear that UF was on upset alert - and we’re significantly more hated nationally than the Gators.
 
I think people are underestimating how many people will watch this game to see if USF can beat Miami. Not only is our brand good on it's own but America loves to hate watch the Canes when we are good to see if we lose lol.

The *** cruise I will be on this weekend only has one channel and it’s the CW. So we will all be sitting poolside watching the game, sipping pina coladas, and singing George Michael karaoke.

I will say one thing that is real nice about this game is the kickoff time. How many college games kickoff at 4:30? When all the 3:30 games are wrapping up casuals will be tuning in for our 2H just due to how it lines up before the 8PM games.
 
Just a reminder to all of you saying “I know where to find games” “I don’t stumble into games” etc, if you’re spending your time posting on a message board dedicated to a college football team you are NOT a typical, casual, whatever word you want to use for it fan.

You’re kidding yourself if you think the majority of people don’t turn on their tv, flip to ABC or ESPN, and watch whatever is there.
