Cut day

Surprised Ray Ray Armstrong got cut. Anyone watched how he played this preseason? Browns also cut Trayone Gray. Has the legend ended?

Nah. He was an excellent 1-gap college DT whose skillset doesn't necessarily translate at the next level (see William Joseph) and apparently he has a **** poor attitude and didn't do anything to make Harbaugh want to develop him.
 
Gore is the last guy from that 2001 team to still be in the NFL? Am I missing someone?

Pretty much. Then people wonder why we can't get the top guys in recruiting.

Kids dream about being 1st round picks not 5-7 round picks like we've been doing.

Who wants to fail to win the coastal then go on to be a 6th round draft pick.

We need to start producing higher picks, but making the 53-man roster is hard. I suspect we will remain in the Top 5 for current NFL players when they run the numbers.

Congrats to Sheldrick Redwine, Jaquan Johnson, Joe Jackson and Travis Homer for adding to the list.

Willie Henry has not made plays period. Played a full game and had 1 Tackle.. Nope Ravens know we need more production from our #3 DT
 
I expect a lot of these guys who got cut to be picked up elsewhere.

I'm a little shocked Gauthier got cut. He was playing well for the Pats. He did have one holding penalty. But overall I was impressed how he held up. Same with Kamalu. He looked pretty good out there. I'm sure they'll land with another team based on their performance, or at least makes a practice squad.
