That's why it will be difficult for Miami to make the CFP this season. Miami absolutely needs an UNDEFEATED Clemson team in the ACC title game.

I don’t think you realize how bad the ACC’s perception is this year. Almost everyone thinks it’s the worst Power 5 conference.

They think it's the worst Power 5 conference every year - irregardless of how many players it puts into the NFL or how it performs in the Bowl games.

It is what it is.

And I agree with them, it probably is. I just find it hard to envision us running the table and being left out. If 4 other conference champs go undefeated (which never happens) then whether we beat an undefeated Clemson or not we are being left out. At this point it’s impossible to say I guess. The season has to play itself out.

I get it from the standpoint of it would a easier road to the playoff. But the this team needs to tested by the best to prove they belong there. Iron sharpens iron. I want see a legit run for #6 in the playoff, not just an appearance. If they were to beat cu in the acccg that would a definite sign they’re ready. They won’t get that from any other team in the confrence this year.

I am getting way too many mixed signals on this board.

Some people are like don't think about Playoffs! This Canes team can still lose to BC or one of the Virginia teams.

Others are like...
.... we must think about the Playoffs!!!! Clemson winning is best for our chances!!!
