That isn't a mentality, but thanks for the analysis. Until Richt proves he can out recruit clemson in the trenches and at QB, we won't beat them. He hasn't shown that, and he is not a good enough game day coach to overcome a deficit at those positions.

I disagree. Richt is building something special here, but our problem is isn’t matching Clemson, it’s matching Bama. If we make Bama our target, our problems with Clemson will take care of themselves. The special talent will want to stay here, not go to Tuscaf**kingloosa.

The networks WANT prime time games in Miami again. It’s chum for ratings. That ND game showed the people in New York the potentially of what’s Canes championship football could bring to them in the way of showcasing talent and the location.

Bama is the bigger dog, not doubt in my mind. But we aren't going to magically side step one to get to the other. For the forseeable future, it is going to be miami vs clemson in the acccg for a playoff spot. Can't beat bama if we don't see them. Step one needs to be getting the conference under control.
