I disagree, the guy over the playoff committee said in an interview winning a power five conference is one of the priorities. The only thing could change that if a team that had two lossss to one . Like bama and Ohio state last year. Ohio state had a god awful blow out loss at Iowa or they’d gotten in. Lose that close they still would’ve made final four , **** the media was still pushing for them after Iowa debacle.


Our only loss will be an ooc game against a team in the top five , if we run the table and have a new qb that looks great in our part.

Like Andre Ware said “ I’d love this team with Perry to get LSU in a rematch “. That narrative will be there , “ completely different team with Perry”.

If we win out we’ll 100 % be in , wr control our own fate.

Btw, don’t get it twisted , the media and networks want us in there. The brand is strong, we bring viewers , always have. Right when they smell us being somewhat good they over hyped us in preseason. ND is getting same treatment now.

All that being said I doubt we run the table.

This is what I was thinking. They wouldn't be able to stop our run game and Perry's arm but we'd give up some points

I think Clemson comes back and wins this game.

But let’s be clear, one reason we were never in it at all last year early on were some critical overthrows and missed targets by Rosier. I someone with Perry’s talents is at QB, then we score, say, 14 points in that first half, and it’s a different ballgame. I think Clemson still wins, primarily because I think we’re a couple of recruiting classes behind them, but I think we have a closer result.

I think there is a distinct possibility we can stay with Clemson’s team and beat them this year, but Perry has to mature and grow into the job. The VaTech game will show us a lot.
