The Lashlee hire allows for some hope that the team will at least be entertaining and not a complete dumpster fire next year. It does not give me hope that we are on track to actually being good again, much less great.

Has Highsmith actually been hired? I just got home from a party so if it’s happened I don’t know the details. The mere fact that this has gone back and forth so many times shows us all just how dysfunctional the structural foundation of this program is.

So, no, I don’t admit that anything I’ve seen over the past weeks give me any hope that this program has anything in its future more exciting than possibly getting over the new lower bar that it just set for itself in the past 24 months.

All I am going to say is that we got to have hope right.

I do seriously believe that if Miami can just produce a top 50 offense, our defense will be better than that.

We can just start to build off an eight-win season maybe nine wins.

Get this f****** ball slowly moving towards the right direction. Recruiting will start to improve again, and we can build momentum.

Miami has got to start producing 9 win consecutive seasons. Then shoot for 10-11 win seasons.

After this our Momentum will begin to be solidly built and recruits will come.
