Banda and Patke are our 2 worst assistants. They’re definitely worse than Rumph, and probably even worse than Stubblefield.

I still have nightmares about how Richt made them co-DCs.

Actually, part of why they haven’t been fired might be because of the wacky co-DC thing. They almost certainly got co-DC salaries this year. (The only way that isn’t that case is if their co-DC contracts were never actually signed.)

And if they got multi year contracts, they’d be getting co-DC salaries in 2020 too. That would make their buyout higher if they got fired.

Bring in a Grad Transfer QB & I'll be hyped...

Until then I'm waiting until I see it on the field in September before I crown anybody.

But I do like the OL coach hire & love the Lashlee hire, he was in my top 2 for OC's.

Also landing Roche is a huge get as well, we're gonna need an elite pass rush to carry the Defense this season.

The Lashlee hire allows for some hope that the team will at least be entertaining and not a complete dumpster fire next year. It does not give me hope that we are on track to actually being good again, much less great.

Has Highsmith actually been hired? I just got home from a party so if it’s happened I don’t know the details. The mere fact that this has gone back and forth so many times shows us all just how dysfunctional the structural foundation of this program is.

So, no, I don’t admit that anything I’ve seen over the past weeks give me any hope that this program has anything in its future more exciting than possibly getting over the new lower bar that it just set for itself in the past 24 months.

I got to say that I am a little underwhelmed because nobody on the defensive side of the ball seems to be held accountable for the catastrophic lapses in important games.

Ssorry to be a mood kille r but I understand I was same way.but I'll wait until I see a few games next season before I expect anything.last off season with Manny plus this last season has made me feel that away.

I still think we can win plenty of games with the QB’s on the roster, more so Williams/Perry than Tate. I know they’ve all got maturity and preparation problems. But when you’re playing in a simple, fun offense, you’ll see more motivation from them. At least I’m telling myself that now.....
