Curious what you think are the odds that Rosier gets pulled at some time during the LSU game

I hope we come into this game popping on all cylinders. I hope when we go on offense that LSU won't be able to get us off the field. I hope we score in every possible way. I hope we put ALL of our offensive talent depth on display and run them off the field. I'm hoping for a complete shutout....with that being said

BUT What I hope will happen and what I think will happen are different

I think that this game will be a defensive struggle minus a couple of big plays. i also feel that both defenses may also score. Turnovers will be the key to this game...and we've got the chain

I think because both defenses may dominate CMR will search for a way to put a spark in our offense.

So I think the odds of Rosier being pulled at sometime during the game at 50%.

It may just be for a series or two unless the sub Kosi, JW or Weldon gets on fire, but it may help Malik get back on track

What do you think?

It's almost guaranteed that if Rosier is the starter for LSU, he will not be pulled until we lose or the game is so bad we are getting blown out.

If you expect him to have a bad couple drives and be taken out quickly, I think you will be disappointed. We will probably have to lose a game or two for someone to overtake him as the starter, and that is what worries me about having Rosier be the starter for LSU.

Rosier will not be pulled vs LSU, even if we lose (which I don't think we will).

Pulling Rosier early defeats the purpose of starting him in the first place.

You're either going to develop the young guys & do what UGA & Bama have done the last 2 seasons with their young QB's, or you bet on the veteran & hope he improves enough to justify it.

If you're going to bet the house on the 5th year Senior, you stick with him, otherwise it's a really bad look starting him & then pulling him.

This is wishful thinking. Unless we are getting blown out or he gets hurt he's playing the whole game. Richt said last week at ACC Media Day if he had it to do all over again he wouldn't have pulled Malik at Pitt and should have let him just fight his way out of it. I don't think he's getting pulled.

Good question, but hard to answer....

Understand this clearly. Maybe I wasn't clear

I'm not saying that Rosier will be pulled and replaced as THE STARTER....not at all.

I agree that He's our starter until we start losing games not just because of a few 3 and outs

But I do think that he may be pulled for a series or two by CMR if the offense is ineffective and needs to get his head straight

10% chance he gets pulled.
But in this scenario, he gets pulled midway through the 4th quarter when we're up by 3 TDs.

Why would he be pulled for a series or two if the offense is sputtering, but not be replaced as the starter?

If the QB he was pulled for started making plays & the offense picked up, wouldn't you want him to be the full time starter? I'm sorry, but you're just not making sense.

Pulling a QB for a series or two is dumb, you can't play musical chairs with the QB, unless you run a 2 QB system & we don't.

If he gets pulled were in big trouble, because if hes pulled were getting stomped. I don't like Rosier as much as the next canes fan but hes our QB1 until further notice.

My prediction:

-Rosier starts and plays whole LSU game.
-Week 2 one of the other guys gets mopup duty. Maybe entire 3rd Q (3rd/4th string also get a look).
-Weeks 3-5 Rosier starts, but we have a legit 2 QB system.
-Your starter for the FSU game will be the starter for the rest of the season.

Malik will start the whole game vs LSU and Miami will win and then then next few ****birds we play Nkosi and Jarren will play 2nd half of games if we are up by a lot
