Culture

Miami has a serious problem, but no one in place to get it solved.. These kids in SoFla are a handful BUT these kid's are ball player's and MIAMI is a joke to most of them, so they don't respect The U.. Miami needs a coaching staff here that these kid's will respect and want to play for.. Manny needs to hire coach's here that will get the player's here better and then we can talk about culture..

The players we get at Miami, mostly from South Florida, are SOFT. They come in soft, and they leave even more soft. But it's up to the coaches to change that.

We need a coach who is a heartless savage to ever succeed here.

You start by making an example out of a high profile offender. Take the biggest alpha male, the most respected, revered, natural leader of the loafers.... and destroy his life in a very public and obvious way. You cut him from the team, expel him from the school, and trash/blacklist him to the media. You call other schools and trash talk him. If he fails a drug test, you say publicly on ESPN that he's a lazy drug user and ruin his reputation. And - here's the important part - you do it in front of his friends and teammates and their families. You take him down in front of them so that they start to fear you.

Then you take total total control of the team. Make players ask you permission for everything. Don't let them wipe their *** without your approval. Make them totally dependent on you.

Don't let them form cliques or hang out with each other outside of practice. Punish cliques mercilessly.

You want to create an air of distrust, envy, and competition among players... you don't want them to be buddies. You want them to hate each other and do anything they can to please you.

Be unpredictable with your punishments. Have some players who are favorites, and others who are in the doghouse, for no apparent reason except to be unpredictable. Some days, be their best friend. Other days, fly off the handle.

I could go on. The idea is to get total psychological control of the team by creating a culture of fear and dependence.

This is basically in a nutshell the Nick Saban school of coaching. It's a heartless and savage mentality that ******* works.

If you think that this philosophy works for a leader in any aspect of life, you really need to get your head checked

Yea every coach is bad. We have had five now that are complete failures. Only one common denominator and it ain’t the coaches. South Florida mentality is a problem. Our demographic of players is unique in the sense that we have virtually a whole team filled with them. Other teams just cherry pick the talent and surround them with players from all over. The kids are problem #1.

Another bumbling moron.

The common denominator is BAD COACHES.

Coker was a bad coach. Got fired, best he could do was Ut San antonio.

Randy was a horrendous coach. Never a HC again, barely even a DC anymore.

Al Golden was an atrocious coach. Best he could do was TE coach for the Lions. Got fired from there.

Richt had been declining for years. Was completely burnt out, and quit coaching.

And Manny Diaz has by far the worst resume of any of the aforementioned.

We never had a problem with South Florida players until we started hiring bad coaches.

1) a lot of the divas on the team are from other places like Georgia, Illinois, central Florida, and California.

2) A lot of players from down here like Jaquan, Al Blades, Rousseau, Gaynor, and countless others seem to be good. Not perfect, but hardly an example of what’s being discussed.

The bigger issue is WHICH kids we recruit. I don’t want to put all the player into this category because that would be unfair and slander, but more often than not, the best players leave here for a place like Bama or Georgia where football is a business.

MOST (not all) of the SoFlo studs leave and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that MOST of the hard workers leave. For every Chaney or Restrepo, there’s 5 Tyson Campbells or Marcus Dumervils or Calvin Ridleys who leave.

The program clearly, for whatever reason, is not taken as seriously as others. Until this is fixed we will not get the Chaneys and Jalen Rivers of the world at a rate we would like, and

so far Manny has failed where others have in this regard.

I’ve been preaching this forever. Roast me all you want. Tell me it doesn’t need another thread. I don’t give a f#%k. This south Florida mentality is bull****. The coach sucks. But the kids are worse. All this diva bullish!t. Diaz needs to clean house. I don’t care how many stars are next to the kids name. I saw it years ago. Root out the disease. I’d rather see a no talent kid playing with all heart then these kids with the god given talent **** all over Miami cause they think they are special.

Go canes
You have a marvelous grasp of the obvious. I eagerly await your next syllable.

Stupid a$$ post and stupid a$$ assumptions. Why does this subject keep being brought up? WHO THE FVCK YALL WANT MIAMI TO RECRUIT?!

Everybody else in the country loves South Florida kids. They're not giving anybody else problems. They work their a$$es off and are the most competitive kids in football.

Jeff Thomas - ****head - not from South FLA
Jalar Holley - dancing fruitcake - not from South FLA
Lorenzo Lingard - transferred - not from South FLA
None of our QB's are from South FLA

WE CONSTANTLY MISS ON THE ELITE SOUTH FLORIDA KIDS. We're not signing the toughest, most skilled, most competitive, most gifted kids in South Florida. We're also not developing the ones we do sign.

I can tell you this...

Ain't nothin' soft about Knighton, Chaney or Restrepo...and they're South FLA to the core.
I guess we should revoke their scholarships now!

Straight facts. Doesn’t matter where they’re from. Plenty of non-divas from SoFlo we just not getting most of them.

I just want a kid that’s terrified to lose. The kids we got don’t care about winning. But manny seems to be recruiting some good kids and that means more competition for places

You think Saban or Dabo would tolerate any of their players dancing while they're getting blown out, or being lazy as **** as Jarren apparently is?

It's the HC's job to instill discipline into the team. If Manny can't do that, he's not fit to be here.
Bruh Jarren don’t even look like he play football
