I keep hearing that we need a culture change and couldn't agree more, however, this alone will not necessarily fix everything.
Even if you have a winning culture, great players, and tons of depth you still have to roll it out on gameday and have a scheme.

What Manny needs to figure it is does Enos' under center, slow huddling offense fit the scheme he wants.
If the answer is yes then just go out and get new players and change the culture and we'll be alright.

If the answer is no, we still need a culture change, new players, better depth etc. but then you need scheme which means a new OC and staff.
It has been stated multiple times that SoFla high schools run spread offenses. Other than holding on to past Canes glory, I can't imagine why Manny is reluctant to change his offense to mirror what high schools here are doing. Perhaps that is one reason we lose so many recruits.

At any rate, we can all agree we are in a rebuild and we are stuck with Manny for now. I hope he makes the right decision.

It starts up front. IF, and it's a big IF, you have a dominant offensive line you can do what we were trying to do. Enos would have rocked it a Alabama. The stupidity was trying to do it here with our young offensive line. We don't change the scheme it isn't going to get any better.

Exactly, biggest difference between Miami now and Miami during their dominant 25+ year run is that they always had killer O-lines. 2001, Kenny went down i think 2-3 times all year......

This is false. The 1992 team had a mediocre at best offensive line, but still made the national title game. The 1994 team had a very poor offensive line, one that ultimately cost the game vs. Nebraska in the OB.

The problem is Manny doesn't have any idea what he is doing as far as HC, he doesn't realize that we should be running the spread over a pro style. He never played football himself. This guy is an amateur at best. Until this UM admin gets replaced and winning becomes a top priority again, then nothing will really change. It is beyond frustrating.

Dominant teams are built from the inside out. We certainly are not put together like that.

No hope he makes right decision. He is a nole and is NOT quiting that paycheck.

Even with a huge offensive line, if your playcalling is predictable as we've been hearing, it won't help that much.

How about both are bad. Cant want an exotic scheme and u have players that dont know the playbook. Wrs not knowing their routes, OL not knowing who to pick up

A monkey could have been the OC at Bama in 2019. It's arguably the most stacked offense ever. To say that En_s would have succeeded at Bama means nothing. You don't finish last in 3rd down % by being good at calling plays.

What in the **** does Manny knows about building a culture when he himself isn’t a natural leader? He’s never been a part of a championship culture, never was a part of a high performing organization, he was once fired from a program with a broken culture, and in fact, he’s never even played sports, let alone the game of football.

So, again, I ask, what does a man with that pedigree know about creating a championship football culture?

Manny is a “buzzword” kind of guy. Probably took a few leadership classes, read a couple HBR articles on culture, heard the word thrown at a few football camps, and now he’s trying to fashion himself as Lombardi or Belicheck. These players don’t respect him at all nor do they believe in him, and you can see it in their demeanor. Manny can bring in an entirely new team and he’d get the same results, because he isn’t a natural leader. And for **** sure he doesn’t know anything about creating a championship or high performing culture.

You can never properly lead men if they don’t believe in you or respect you. A culture cannot raje root this circumstance

I still want to know who Zion Nelson is related to. Someone on the BOT had to be forcing their hand. Don't give me that let kids develop mess either because there are plenty of "developmental kids" on the roster who don't play.

Did you not see the results when anyone else was playing tackle? We were a team without anyone who could even adequately play OT. Horrible recruiting and even worse player development.

hint hint hint......after an entire season of proof, people on here thinking its scheme yada yada......its the corches fellas. And we wonder how an oompa loompa gets elected and remains supported despite everything seen. SMFH

My goodness...this is phucking nuts that people are still trying to addres the congitive dissonance by finding excuses for the corching deficiencies. WAKE UP!!!!!!!

this is how bad that is ..... it would be hard to finish last in 3rd down efficiency even if an OC was deliberately trying to do that !
