Crown Alex Gall and some other quick hitters...

Good take, k9. Outside of
McIntosh and occasionally Harris, the front 4 has failed to generate a pass rush. Thomas has been invisible more games than not.

Sad to say but the Linder injury showed us he was the primary problem on the line. He's too small and weak to play on the interior

Have to think that broken hand bothers him but who knows

Yeah, Coach Kool is great but he still needs time to do what he does. But Joe Jax is the future and I cant wait to see him develop. Those delayed blitzes in the 1st half were grinding my gears, but again, Diaz probably felt he had to find a way to create pressure

Love a center that gets a push. We had 1 about 3 years ago that also came in when someone got hurt, and he started serving pancakes. Forgot his name, converted guard. Contributed as a senior.

Interesting to note that the good Miami teams had quality centers.

I been disappointed Gall hasn't played more this year up to now. My sauces told me he really worked it in the Spring and off season conditioning.

For all you dissing Kaaya, he was named the cot dam Ace Hardware player of the game; don't know how dat happened but it did.

Mea culpa, I thought Gall was bad, I mean, Freeman Brown-level but lo and behold he has been a steep upgrade at C for Miami. I think he's found his position and I don't think he gives it up anytime soon. He has the size and girth that Linder simply doesn't possess and he gives the Canes a real push upfront inside

- Ahmonn Richards is best first year WR Ive seen at UM. Yes, the Canes have had some great RS Frosh campaigns but never like this for a true freshman

- Kaaya wasn't good today. Missed throws all over and also ignored easier throws that could've kept drives going. It is what it is.

- Walton played his best game at Miami, ran hard and broke tackles and his early play really set the tone offensively

- Anyone else disappointed by the lack of pure pass rush by the front four? Tackle play inside vs the run by Norton was outstanding

- Love the future of our front 7 but Im very concerned about the DB next year, especially seeing Redwine out there( sorry, just a step slow for corner, IMO) Hated the delay blitzes Diaz ran in the first half, I thought at times (specifically on the 3nd and goal) playing 8 in coverage was the better/safer option in that situation

- Feels good to be back on a winning streak. But October will always frustrate me. I think UM has a tough one next week in Ralieght. Lets finish this season strong and build some momentum going into the thick of recruiting...

Freeman Brown....that's a blast from the past. Does this mean Trevor Darling is Ricky Perry-bad?

I know, water under the bridge...but we miss AQM ,Grace and Young.

No disagreement there, it stripped away valuable depth and talent. Diaz has done a nice job of super gluing and duct taping a solid unit this season

I'll also add that the defense has played really well in the 2nd half the last 2 years. nice to have a DC that can make halftime adjustments

Yes. I'd like to chalk it up as a lack of a pure pass-rusher like AQM.

I was expecting our DL to look a lot like this. We don't have anyone with Shane Ray's ability though.

Gall was good Joe Jackson is a STUD and any OC with a pulse will pick on Redwine. Thought all the RB's ran well , but Walton was very good today. The penalties still **** me off and I'm so glad we signed AR15.

It's funny how they are picking on Redwine more than Young...smh.

But I like Redwine's hitting ability. He's more suited for S work

LOL, well in all fairness to Darling, I think he's being miscast as a tackle, I actually think( along with many others ) that he'd be a pretty good guard. Ricky Perry, yeah, big and ponderous, some of the slowest feet Ive ever seen that was during the Erickson/Gregg Smith era of Miami Olineman that were utterly forgettable save a few guys

It's been mentioned that Redwine's money position is probably safety as he doesn't have the quickness that the other corners have. He's a good talent, just not fast.

But I agree with all of your other points.

Ummm, you also agreed with him about Redwine.

Not sure if it is just a coincidence or some other factor at play but there is no denying the fact that the OL has looked better ever since Gall stepped in. Kind of bizarre.
