Crowd split 8/24 in Orlando?

There was no public sale. Read below.

Due to high demand, a public sale is not expected for this game. As Florida and Miami finish selling their respective ticket allotments to season ticket holders, the only way to guarantee access is through membership with Florida Citrus Sports. Select non-membership bundles including the Camping World Kickoff are also available, however, quantities are extremely limited. For more information, visit CampingWorldKickoff.com.

As I understand, I don’t think it was a ton of tickets that the Camping World people ahead. A few thousand? . I thought I saw the number somewhere but they only held back a few thousand.

And who says that 100% of those Camping World tickets are going to turds.

Pretty much anybody that’s sitting out on our side of the stadium wearing orange and blue, will have bought the tickets from a Canes “fan” - that whole left side of the stadium was blocked out for Miami

And to prove my point, which side has the most tickets to sell?

Now, which side is the Miami side? Hazard a guess.

I repeat. Shltbag scheming shyster “fans”. Lumps of fūcking shlt.

so if it seats 65, 25 went to UM, 25 went to UF. there are still 15k out there no? orlando is a heavy gator/nole with a ton of UF alums in the city. so you have 25k UF and a possibility of MOST of the 15k remaining being UF fans, wouldn't that mean its not 50/50?

The difference will likely come from businessmen that are gator fans and have connections in the area, which I would expect to be pretty significant.

People also need to stop with the "Miami doesn't travel" non-sense. Miami represents themselves pretty **** well at virtually every away game, the lightest is probably in Blacksburgh.

miami travels fine. blacksburg is a ***** to get to bc I've wanted to do an away game there but its just too much of a pain in the *** with flights and then a drive. we just dont have the same amount of fans as a 50k public school and that shouldn't surprise anyone. there are Canes fans in Orlando, but youre kidding if you think it rivals UF/FSU fan base and really Orl is heavy UF. a lot of companies/firms love UF grads and it ends up keeping UF grads in the area. also, Orlando sends a pretty large amount of people to UF for school.

I’ve never seen the 25 25 15 number. I know the whole west side is Miami. East sideline is ****. Look at the chart and tell me whose reselling more tickets. By a huge margin.

But you’re right, Orlando is heavily ****

I hope I’m wrong, but if I’m not, I blame the ticket office

from what i remember, people on CIS threw out that the ticket office said each school received 20 or 25k allotment for the game. whether its 20 or 25, UF received the same amount. there are still another portion of tickets available, likely going to connects in the area and Citrus Club, and those will be heavy gator. the diff will come from those remaining seats in pushing the fan total regardless of whether canes fans sold tickets online or not. also, you do realize UF fans and alums dont have the same ticketing procedures miami did right? it wasn't all out access for them for this game where you were able to choose number of seats, location at a specified time. their procedure was basically UF ticket office fulfilling requests and only bull gators really have a shot there. even tho it got messed up this time, i actually liked our procedure better. i liked it for LSU/UM as well. it allows us to have a choice vs the ticket office just sending me tickets to a game in tally after placing the request and it could be anywhere in the stadium.

Anyone know how they do the student ticket allotment? I’ve been waiting to get the email on the student package, and have wondered if they’re giving us equal tickets or giving Ufag more because they’re a bigger school....

from what people said on here, they were told that its equal allotments for each school. i would have assumed UF would receive more tickets just due to common sense, but dont know if well ever get a real answer on that unless someone works in the AD of either school.

i recommend just going by the ticket office on the way home from class, pick up a poster if they still have those lying around, and asking someone there about when they'll go on sale. when we played there in 08, the email for the tickets for students came in around the summer time.

LSU was an “away” game and Miami fans still showed up
absolutely! Miami fans showed up. i was there and there was not a significant difference in fan base present. it was very even between the two. Miami fans are going to show up for this game. no doubt about that!

we showed up well, but the upper deck was pretty empty (at least on our side). they did out number us, but it wasnt anything embarrassing.

Okay but that’s in Texas, if they can do that there I’m sure they can do more in the state of Florida

It's doubtful it is a 25/25/15 split. We would see significantly more resale tix available now in the endzones and that's not the case based on the seating map.

There will be more Gaytor fans than Miami fans for all the reasons mentioned here. How much? Impossible to say, but we will be well represented. It's up to our fans to make the Gaytor fans sitting in the Miami side of the field absolutely miserable. Not sure why anyone would even want to sit smack in the middle of an opposing team's fans. I've done it before at Doak and it's not pleasant.

Anyone who thinks it will be close to 50/50 is quite naive. They are closer to the stadium, have more alumni, and are coming off a better season.

As poster above showed, StubHub is telling us who will have more fans (Supply/Demand). Hope for a 60/40 split

We’ve got too many resells. That’s just a fact. Why are there barely any seats for sale on the turds side, yet we sold out our allotment, but thousands on sale on our side.

No, the ticket office should have placed stricter limits.

I bought 6 tickets, but I’m not reselling..it’s all family. Tons of other “Miami fans” bought 6 tickets and are selling 4 or all 6 indiscriminately. That’s just a fact.

Had they told me I could only buy two tickets, I would’ve been happy with that, because then I know that what was left over would’ve also been sold out to real fans that were NOT reselling, instead of fake fans trying to make a buck. Demand would’ve been met.

They'll be waaayyyyy more Lizard fans....not even close....60%-40%??.....I wouldn't bet on it......LoL at Neutral game....Orlando is Gainesville part 2....
