Cristobal SI.com article

LOL!! Thanks for your concern.

As an alum, I WILL ALWAYS BE A CANE. That will never change. Win or Lose.

As for my day, It's still going great and it will still be again tomorrow because I'm fully grown and have had more than my share of blessings in life to worry about losing a game.

Still have my family, my health, my homes, my business, all of my big boy toys and I don't owe anyone anything. I will always have a great day

So if you were hoping I'd be off crying somewhere.......sorry to disappoint you.
Yo MainLine we're all in this together as Cane fans. We all can't be happy about the program because we are spoiled... we don't take losing lightly.
I'm also blessed, and though I just turned 64 I'm retired and healthy. I'm also debt free other than a mortgage.
You've had good posts and I've let you know here and there. You're good dude.
Just one irony regarding being a diehard fan and being an alum. My stepson who is half my age is a UM alum got an IT degree and is living well in Canton, GA. I'm not a UM alum but I am a diehard Cane, been one since the 70's. My stepson is a diehard Fins fan and will not miss a Fins game, but he doesn't have nowhere the same passion for Canes sports. I am the complete opposite. 22 year OB season ticket holder... would of been longer if not for job commitments. He has Star Wars tattoos mine are Canes. Just a little gossip.
Later... see around here

Cristobal won't be out recruited by anyone, look at what he's doing at Oregon recruiting wise. We all know that's half the battle. On top of that we know the guy would delegate OC and DC responsibilities, maybe he would micromanage the offensive line but that's fine. I would rather have Cristobal than Richt, I don't care that he left here for Alabama.
I don't know if that scenario would ever present itself... Mario coming here that is. What I do know is that this should have been CMR breakthrough year where his efforts would have paid off. But there's just to much helter-skelter shiit and no cohesion with the team. I'm not a hater, just a realist.

Thanks man.

Canes become Canes fans in many different ways and for many different reasons.

I Wish Miami had won, even thought I'd make a few $$ on it. That didn't happen. I try to keep my sense of humor about it because I have a real life. Bottom-line, this game doesn't really impact our real lives unless we let it. The staff and and players will always want to win these games more than we ever will. So I don't take my opinions about how they should do it as gospel nor get upset when someone disagrees.

We're on an opinion board. We all won't always agree. You meet some good people and occasionally somes asses. That comes with territory. I wish them all well. You're a good one.

Have a good one

10-4 we agree... opinions are ok...
there's one thing I detest... that's slinging insults just because we operate under anonymity.
Thanks G

LOL I completely agree. Its weak.

There are a lot of angry, disturbed, frustrated, neutered people out there who try to treat others as they are probably being treated in life. As if we are responsible for their shortcomings. I feel sorry that they can't enjoy their lives as we do.

But everyone makes their own bed. I made mine just like I wanted it, so I sleep well.., as I'm sure you do too.

C ya down the road G

It's all about accountability dude. Like you stated earlier, you and had no prior interactions yet you came at me first on behalf of the Mario haters. I instantly became public enemy no. 1 for simply defending a TRUE Canes alum in Mario Cristobal. Again, not only did this man help deliver us TWO championships he's never done anything to hurt the University of Miami that we all love whether we're Alum or just diehard fans, and there's absolutely no reason whatsoever to wish the worst for a Cane alum. Everyone is entitled their own opinion and if you wanna hate that's fine, but don't attack someone else simply because they don't agree with the goings-on.

Listen, you showed your true colors, by tossing insults and taking joy in a Miami loss. That told me all I needed to know about you..

No one "attacked" you..I certainly didn't,,,. they just disagreed with you. Too bad you can't tell the difference. Its an opinion board dude. NOT JUST FOR YOUR OPINION.

Regardless, I've moved on.....I'm not into tossing insults or dealing with people that do ...so let's just not communicate any further.

Hope things work out for you ... I'll take the 1st step by putting you on ignore.

I’m confused. We hate SI ever since ‘the article’ and now we want to hire coaches they write up and praise?

...you seem angry...

It’s pretty evident you’re massively butt-hurt that your brother didn’t get the Miami job, but you’ve got to let it go.
It's pretty evident you're butt hurt that Oregon won yesterday. Answer this...If Mario is successful at Oregon why would he want to make a lateral move to UM? I sincerely hope that if he's successful he stays where he is.

Imagine if richt lost a game to Pittsburgh last year in the middle of a playoff run simply because we refused to play the best available talent... the fanbase would simply blame malik rosier & give staff a pass.
Fyi. I say this not to bash richt or staff but simply to point out things happen at all levels. 9 out of 10 coaches arent hands on enough to control their own fate like that. Their really is no reason to bash mario (atleast that I'm aware of). If someone knows a good reason please inform me. Otherwise as far as I know him (which is well)hes a die hard cane that made a smart business decision. You wanna bash any former canes that people around here still seam to love for whatever reason than look no further than lamar thomas. He contributed towards embarrassing us to cost us a championship and he **** all over us as a wr coach for Louisville. Talk about negative recruiting. Lmfao

This.
