You are a very wise person. Thats a great perspective to have, but some of the entitled idiots will still nit pick him to shreds amidst the power struggle going on behind the scenes. Then we will be stuck with the boy with the lisp for another year. Should be **** thankful if we end up with him after this nightmareYou all know how I feel about Cystalball.
With the way this process has unfolded over the last two weeks I'd welcome him with open arms because I feel any alternative decision will break me.
Please PM me.
That’s what I told her finally after a strong hour in it!He comin
You missed the Lincoln Riley extension…. Oh wait!!!!Serious question about Mario and the Ducks
Oregon obviously knows the Canes are interested in Mario. Why have they not already offered him an extension to some amount of money that we can not match? Is it because:
1. He recently signed a new contract so another extension makes no sense
2. The buyout is so big they figure no one is touching it
3. Oregon is not certain they want to pay Mario $8-10 million per year based on performance
4. Mario has told them he isn’t seeking an extension (for a variety of reasons)
5. None of the above
I ask because the silence out of Oregon is deafening.
PSU-extension
Wake-extension
BC-extension
Baylor-extension
to name a few
Who's to say we haven't...Doesn't take long to sign a deal in principle when both sides are a go....
He didn't recently sign a new extension. It was a clause that kicked in based on exceeding results... Big difference.Serious question about Mario and the Ducks

If he were to strike right on an OC and DC. Then I believe we’d be in national contention within 3 years easily.I’m a Lane Kiffin type dude myself…..but I feel like we going to pull Mario. Like I feel it a lot….in my brain that’s what Miami is going to do after the PAC 12 game.
AD in place this week and Mario on Monday.
I hope he recruits here as well as you all expect.
I hope he’s learned from all of his stops. Many, myself included, question the game day calls from this man.
But honestly if we are truly stacking the roster with actual chips and some real players we would probably just out talent the ACC into a few Coastal and ACC titles.
We’ve always had the best or 2nd best roster in the ACC since we joined…but let’s be real. A lot of them dudes were jags.

I dont think some realize this is a last ditch effort. One thing i’ll say is if Mario is the guy we have to actually give him some time. Cuz this is it.
The question remains, who is "we" at Miami? Unless there is some remarkable currently unreported turnaround, "we" had secured Tom Jurich until another part of the "we" said no. So who at UM has any power to make a move this big when the first big move that was made got torpedoed?Who's to say we haven't...
Don’t do us like this…:Who's to say we haven't...
This is why I’m of the belief that there is soooooo much going behind the scenes that our heads would be spinning. I would love to receive a PM from Cribby laying it all out but there is no reason for him to trust me that I would keep it quiet. The question remains, who is "we" at Miami? It’s the Miami way. Hoping this would change, but not expecting anything less. AD is the anvil, Coach is the Hammer. Agree, assbackwards. My only concern is the AD. It makes perfect sense to fire AD, have new AD come, gut the admin, get his people in, look at sports, gut them and hire his people.
This now looks like Mario is calling the shots and if we are letting him, we essentially have a deal worked out or are confident one will happen. Cool, Mario, regardless of warts and banter on the board the last few days, is an upgrade over Manny.
But if we have all this apparently worked out and no AD yet, it is just screaming that the AD is another BOT puppet that will stick longer than he should so egos do not get bruised. What qualified AD walks into a place where the BOT just committed 5-7 years to a HC that the AD had no input. Unless some AD already told them Mario would be my #1 guy if hired, it just seems *** backwards.
I was waiting for you....LolWho's to say we haven't...
