Mario is coming! He’s a professional he reads this board and he knows If he comes out with the announcement and loses to Utah again fraggle will post nine threads about how he’s not the answer. Then lane slurpers will make another ten threads. Not to mention the fifty threads about how he failed at fiu lmao. He will announce it the day after the pac 12 championship. You are a very wise person. Thats a great perspective to have, but some of the entitled idiots will still nit pick him to shreds amidst the power struggle going on behind the scenes. Then we will be stuck with the boy with the lisp for another year. Should be **** thankful if we end up with him after this nightmare

He didn't recently sign a new extension. It was a clause that kicked in based on exceeding results... Big difference.

I hope he recruits here as well as you all expect.

I hope he’s learned from all of his stops. Many, myself included, question the game day calls from this man.

But honestly if we are truly stacking the roster with actual chips and some real players we would probably just out talent the ACC into a few Coastal and ACC titles.

We’ve always had the best or 2nd best roster in the ACC since we joined…but let’s be real. A lot of them dudes were jags.

If he were to strike right on an OC and DC. Then I believe we’d be in national contention within 3 years easily.

I lean Kiffin because he’s been winning right away at his stops recently and at least is regarded as a top kind in one side of the ball.

Either way, I’m happy to see Manny out. As both are a major upgrade and would probably have us in the ACC championship their first years.

The question remains, who is "we" at Miami? Unless there is some remarkable currently unreported turnaround, "we" had secured Tom Jurich until another part of the "we" said no. So who at UM has any power to make a move this big when the first big move that was made got torpedoed?

This is why I’m of the belief that there is soooooo much going behind the scenes that our heads would be spinning. I would love to receive a PM from Cribby laying it all out but there is no reason for him to trust me that I would keep it quiet.

But if we have all this apparently worked out and no AD yet, it is just screaming that the AD is another BOT puppet that will stick longer than he should so egos do not get bruised. What qualified AD walks into a place where the BOT just committed 5-7 years to a HC that the AD had no input. Unless some AD already told them Mario would be my #1 guy if hired, it just seems *** backwards.

It’s the Miami way. Hoping this would change, but not expecting anything less. AD is the anvil, Coach is the Hammer. Agree, assbackwards.
