Cristobal is not the leading candidate

I also like Chud and Herman (Not a UM guy, but he would turn out to be one) and don't really have a problem with Schianno or Cristobal. However I prefer Butch over them all because I think he brings in Schianno and or Cristobal to work beside him and plan for the future. I'm sure I'll get killed over my thoughts! haha.

What about a Chud/Mario combo? Chud as HC and Mario as a position coach and lead recruiter. Still need to figure out the defensive side but that's a nice start to building a staff. Again, Butch and Herman might be better options but, the scenario is worth discussing.

This is still a 'Canes message board but lately feels like the Butch Davis fan club forum.

I like your thoughts as well as a second option if we can't get mine. And I'm not a fan of giving the job to Mario without him working behind someone first.

Dude...are you serious?

From 1994–2003, Chudzinski coached at his alma mater, the University of Miami. He spent his first two years as a graduate assistant. He then served as the tight ends coach from 1996-2000. From 2001-2003, he served as both the tight ends coach and offensive coordinator. In 2001, the Hurricanes won the national championship. A year later, the Canes offense set school records for points, total yards and rushing touchdowns.

In 2007, Chudzinski was named the offensive coordinator of the Cleveland Browns.[2] That year the Cleveland Browns ranked eighth overall on offense, sent 4 offensive players to the Pro Bowl, and finished 2nd in the AFC North with a record of 10-6, their most wins since 1994.

In 2011, Chudzinski was named the Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator. He took one of the league's worst offenses in 2010 and transformed it into one of the top 10 offenses in 2011 with rookie quarterback Cam Newton. The Panthers finished seventh overall in the league on offense, fifth in points scored, and set a new franchise record for total yards in a season.

So the answer is...yes.

He has turned around every offensive he has taken over.

He got totally buttf**ked in Cleveland as HC.

He should be in the hall of fame for winning 4 games that year with Brandon Weeden as his QB.

Do we have the dumbest fans on the planet?

Chud is a consultant in Indy.

Pep Hamilton is calling plays.
Has Chud ever produced a top 10 offense either as a coordinator or HC? Whenever someone asks about his credentials, we usually get cordial quotes from coaches and players but no stats to back up the assertion that he is some sort of offensive mastermind.
You proved me wrong. Thank you for the stats.

Why not include that after Cleveland ranked 8th in total offense in 2007, they plummeted to 31st in Chud's second year as OC and he wasn't retained by their next staff?

This leg humper voted yes to hiring Beanerdict in the poll thread so take everything he says with a mountain of salt.
