I'm absolutely delighted that he's delivered this early with one hand tied behind his back... but this is what I expected of him. Next step is hiring a competent OC and getting the f' out of their way - that's the BIG criticism of him as a HC. As a recruiter he's pretty much unrivaled.

I’ve been a bit critical in the past of Cristobal and his on field coaching, and I think he still has some work to improve there. However, I still felt like he’d be the best guy for Miami because he is an elite, elite recruiter. At the end of the day, the most talented programs are the ones contending for the CFP year after year.

What he did in just two months is miraculous and I can’t wait to see what he does moving forward in 2023 and beyond.
