Did you read the rest of my post? NY AG definitely got what they wanted - him pleading the 5th, which will create a negative inference against Trump. You obviously don't know what that means, so stick to getting your information from twitter and YouTube.

They really need to relabel here. Calling communists progressives is an insult to progressives. Their ideal bill would be on that criminalizes local law enforcement and mass expansion of the FBI. States need to tell these DC legislators to f-off and ignore their dictates.

If both Dems and Repubs work together to push back on special interest and bring back manufacturing, do infrastructure and high-speed rail the country would have enough good paying jobs to reduce crime. 100%. Every study has shown crimes are linked to simple factors, education and money. If you increase one of the two, you decrease the amount of crime. Also, when you increase either education or money, the other generally increases as well, impacting crime at a larger scale. The other factor is getting rid of private prisons that drive and make money on keeping criminals and not rehabilitation. The government should not involve itself with private prisons.

Maybe you and I disagree on the definition. To me, when someone insinuates a case is politically motivated, it means the action would not have been brought forth against a person, in this case Trump, but for the fact that he was formerly President. If that's the case, then I don't agree. Jurisdictions bring forth actions against individuals for fraudulently obtaining loans and other interests all the time. Does Trump being former president add something? Of course, and i would never suggest otherwise. Any attorney would love to be the one who can make a name for themselves by getting a verdict against a big name. Again, that happens in law all of the time as well. To me, that doesn't make it politically motivated. Trump and/or his businesses have a history and a reputation for doing shady business, especially in NY. Amd he has dealt with legal issues there before, during, and after his Presidency. Frankly, would you care that these charges would be brought against him if he had never been president?
