Couple things on Adidas deal

U said more $$ = influence. So, prove it. Show me how us making more $$ w Adidas has swayed influence. I gave u very specific, tangible programs that r making **** ton of $$ w Adidas, & I’m asking u to prove that data point.

Again, my guy, I’m not sure what you’re arguing?

Less money is better? A team’s apparel sponsor shapes the culture of the team?

I keep saying it and you keep talking around it… of course apparel money alone isn’t enough. But also of course more total money increases the probability of success.

But I’d love to hear the argument that more money is not better than less money in college sports in 2025.

And no, Nike is not gonna funnel players to us.

I actually give zero f’s about who sponsors us because Brooks makes better running shoes and RAD makes better crossfit shoes.

But I know the more $$ Miami has to spend on football, the more likely my kids are to experience what I got to experience as a Miami fan growing up.

So, I’m gonna ignore your request to “prove” an irrelevant data point (other than reference that there is about a 99.7% correlation between football budgets and winning) and say - again - I hope Miami takes the apparel deal that gets them the biggest bag.

Totally agree. As I've said before if side by side the deals are very close let the fashion police pick one.

I listen to Pete yesterday and I’m wondering if Adidas is giving Miami a deal similar to what Penn State and Tennessee got. I guess in that sense it would make it hard to say no. I think he said the current contract runs out in spring of 2026. Hopefully Nike/Jordan Brand comes close to whatever offer and benefits Adidas will offer. I have my preference but that doesn’t matter in the slightest lol

Reupping with Adidas is quite a long way from Mario, Rad and Zo being afraid of no ******* and demanding Nike return -- and Mario being tight with Phil Knight...

So for those scoring at home…
- SEC - Nope
- B1G - Nope
- Super Facilities - Nope
- Nike - Nope

******* Manny, Blake and Shalala…oh wait

Ya’ll dying for insider cred are 0 for a lot… and now have to blame the regime you’ve been selling hard.

Fun times!
