Could McElwain be on Hot Seat in 2017?

Just look at his recruiting class and that will twll u if hes going to succeed. He needs a qb badly though but the defense will start to drop off

Saban went 6-7 at Alabama his first season including a loss to Louisiana-Monroe a Sunbelt team. Give the man at least 3 years to see what he can do.

Exactly. Bauta threw like 20 picks that game too. I'm all aboard the Richt Train but he needs a competent QB to win. Then again, we've also never heard him say he could go down to an animal shelter and pick out a QB and still have success with his system either.
 
I too felt that way about gaters. They say it's better to be lucky than good, but ask any gambler and they'll tell you that luck runs out. Mr. Ed will get good recruits because he's at Fl, but the facts say he got drubbed by the really good coaches and teams.
 
Needing a competent QB shouldn't be a criticism. Who wins NCs despite poor QB play?

I dislike defending UF but first give the man a chance to fail. He got beaten, badly, by better teams, with Ice Harris' spawn at QB.

kids will start transferring at first , than he will not be able pull top recruits . Does this sound familiar to us . Three years and he is gone .
 
Dudes qb got suspended and had treon back there doing god knows what. I wouldn't crown him just yet though.

He was lucky Muschamp left him a chit load of defensive players... It's down hill from here...
