Could McElwain be on Hot Seat in 2017?

Just saw some tweets about this. Got really beat up by the best coaches. Bama, Mich, and FSU, LSU. Almost lost to Vanderbilt, FAU, and ECU.

Had some decent wins but mostly because of a good defense that he's not responsible for. Their offense, which he is responsible for took a step back from last year statistically. One of the worst rushing and passing teams in the nation.

It'll be interesting to see what happens when his defensive players graduate and he can't get his offense good enough, quick enough. Next year could be that year with no quarterback on the roster and maybe a freshman?

I read it and now it makes only some sense with how coaching tenures are viewed these days.

I look at it like this. He's on the warm seat if other teams in America are not like yes I want your coach.

Either way let's go Richt and the U

Ps you can say why we talking about him. Well it's great to throw that out there lol. Disrupts team chemistry and recruiting if it gets loud enough. Just saying. We saw it here

It sure was cute how a lot of people (including some of our downtrodden fans) were so quick to crown him as legit without actually paying attention to UiF's games. They're an 8 win team AT BEST next season. To answer your question though, ANY struggling coach can and should be on a hot seat 3 years in. The timeframe for requiring success has been changed by guys like Harbaugh (and hopefully Richt). You don't get 5 years any longer.

Gotta be good for us in recruiting (at least a little) that uf and fsu got skull rubbed. I realize we lost, but we have a whole new regime coming in. LOL @ Swamp Donkey and Dumbo. Michigan goin' in dry with sandpaper.

Ive been saying this all along to some buddies that are Gator fans. They refuse to listen and insist Mcelwain is a better than Richt, lol. Every time I say Richt will be more successful than Mcelwain they laugh. Can't wait to tell them I told you so

All I know is that guy Harbaugh needs to clean his shoes after the game for putting his foot so far up his ******.

He's definitely got 3 years.... his 1st year @ UF was eerily similar to Muschamps 1st year when they went 11-1 and lost in the Sugar Bowl. UF fans thought they'd be in the Natty title game the next season and it was a steady downhill drop.

The offense which is supposed to be his specialty wasn't impressive at all. Ive had UF fans tell me well look what he's working with....yeah? Well Harbaugh is working with Hoke's leftovers and did pretty well. Tom Herman didn't do so bad with what he walked into...

He doesn't get the excuse of "look what he's working with" after he opens his gums about being able to "win with my dog at QB". Sorry buddy.

That's the game Georgia played Bauta, who somehow was even worse than Harris. If there's one thing I hope Richt learned this year, it's to recruit a QB every year. He had nothing this year. Losing Chubb killed them.
