could be a 3-4 sack game

Saying "put it all together again" implies he once had it together. Let us examine his stats if you will Mrs. Lagway............

Career
186-292 63.7% 2544 yards 17 TD 15 INT

Now lets take away the creampuff games......
104-177 59% 1391 yards 9 TD 12 INT

Come on dude. His stats aren't even good keeping the Sam Houston States, LIU's, USF, and Tulane's in there, they are horrendous against P4. Just stop.
I hope he doesn't put it together. We good?

When people say a QB can hurt you with his legs, that doesn't necessarily mean they're Michael Vick and can beat you with their legs.

Lagway is a big dude and can move, meaning he can extend drives picking up cheap 1st downs, and find guys you lose track of downfield, if you are not disciplined. The latter has been a problem in all 3 games.

My guess is they will hit a chunk play or two downfield, that's OK. The key to winning the game will be to regroup, stay disciplined, and keep him uncomfortable and guessing on coverages. That is not his strength, at all.

I suspect we will mix up zone and man coverages, while having somebody on him so he doesn't have time for VT/Drones scramble ball. I hope we zone blitz him a ton, stuff we haven't shown much.

Yeah, I think we will have success getting to him, but we have to wrap him up, and get him down, while being disciplined about accounting for their guys downfield.

@HurricanePhilly usually has a similar sac goal for his cruises

Lagway is potentially dangerous. So was Brown. I actually think USF's WRs are comparable if not as good as UF's. the OLs are comparable UF's is likely better. UF's RBs are a lot better. UF throws a lot of misdirection and eye candy. That's been our Achilles' heel in recent years. I think we'll be much better prepared for it under Heatherman.

I would bet they have Lagway dink and dunk, and if it isn't there, run. They have to negate the pass rush and Lagway's INT potential. Miami has given up some shot plays, so that's potentially there, but if I was Napier, I'd keep Lagway from having to go through progressions and simplify everything. He isn't processing things right now.

You are right, 18 carries for 31 yards is very impressive................and he is more fragile than a decorative vase, so let him take a shot from one of our LB's or Safety's.
Why u gotta bring decorative vases into this? Thats pretty low, dude. I think you owe decorative vases everywhere a sincere apology.

G5 Billy runs the same offense he ran in the G5.

Ya'll are clearly into gameday mode already. I just said it's difficult to get 3 to 4 sacs on a guy you have to play contain against on the DL especially in middle to short distances. Simple football nuance here. CIS response is why do you like Lagway, why are you afraid he's gonna run, Gator homer.....DIE DIE DIE DIE....

Wow tuff crowd.

Funny that our insiders have been saying Lagway is injured for months

Our insiders know more about Florida than Miami

Remember your boy saying he’s fat and slow weeks ago.

I’m not making excuses for him, I genuinely hope he ends up at Target manning the self-checkout line, but the injuries and playing for that complete loser have ruined him to this point. This dude was an agile locomotive in high school. Now he can’t move. He’s 15-20 pounds heavier than he needs to be. But when you get hurt every half hour for a year straight, it’s hard to train properly. So now he’s a revolting blob. And he has a brainless fraud coaching him and trying to find what he does well. Big yikes.

Sacks aren’t the only thing that indicate a valid pass rush, but cook. We’ll revisit Saturday around midnight.

Was it 2023 or 2022 I can’t remember which one, but we had a lot of team sacks. No one watching the games would say we were a pressure team though. This team gets pressure almost every single time they need to. IDGAF about the actual numbers. Joey Bosas agent would be quick to agree with you as well.
