This might be an unpopular opinion but I don't have much issue with a kid changing his mind if the HC personally guaranteed that he'd be coached by a particular person and then the HC doesn't follow through.

If Skrong gets hired by another program to be the DC coach as rumored, Steele can easily take over coaching LBs. That frees up an onfield coaching spot. Assuming Cristobal wants to keep Addae, he could be the DB coach and DVD could be the CB coach. Problem solved.
