One under-talked about aspect of pulling shenanigans on signing day is how much it boosts your personal brand, and in turn makes you more marketable during the NIL era.

People obviously knew about Travis Hunter before flipping to Jackson State, but the buzz from that flip boosted Hunter’s name recognition and overall profile.

Same thing with Cormani if he bolts to Colorado. He’ll be the most well-known recruit in the country if he signs there. And he’ll be playing for a guy the media loves to cover.
