• Cormani tweeted about it being hard to develop a relationship surf coaches since they change up
• His top 8 has had at least 1 coaching change this off-season.
• Was not specific on which schools thag applied to but Ivins insinuated it was Addae leaving UGA to UM.
• Said he had just met Addae in person a few weeks ago and now needs to get down to Miami to “meet the new staff”. Doesn’t know when though but is visiting Bama on 3/5
• T-Rob pushing for him and it was highlighted he just left Miami.
• Meechigan DB coach has built a good relationship with him.
• Going to “Wait it out” to commit.

There are some VERY nice neighborhoods (not South Florida luxurious, but nice) in Polk County). In those places it’s like Mayberry.

There are reasons to avoid Polk as a place to live. Crime is at the bottom of that list. If your kid has a rebellious streak, you can do better though. You don’t want them caught up in the meth and heroin scene.

I'm about 2 blocks from Kathleen. It's a different world, but 10 years and one random car break in, there is more trouble at the gas stations than the neighborhoods. Both of my boys attend school in Riverview, their moms house is close to their charter. Some good ball played around here, and with the amount of people moving to Polk from Hillsborough may add to it.

In all cases, you have to deal with the influencers. The first priority is finding out who they are. Moms are probably #1 because she needs to trust you with her son. #2 should be Dad. However, it could be a single parent household where the other major influencer is going to be a male such as HC or relative.

Top recruits will command an NIL deal. The influencers, outside of Mom and Dad, will seek a bag to push young men in a school's direction.

In the early days of NIL, college football recruiting is looking more like college basketball recruiting where dealing with AAU and high school street agents is part of the process. The only difference is NIL provides a gray area of legality.

Im interested to follow Saban to see if he finally relents and admits that paying kids of McClain caliber is just the wave of the future. His interview post-NSD where he said, "We are not going to have a 30M payroll like TAMU and those teams. Sorry. You got the wrong program." Yet he cant explain how his entire secondary rides around in Dodge HellCat Chargers. (eyes rolling)

McClain is getting a bag. Now whoever is down with getting him that bag will make his top 5.

It’s not gonna be a bag that gets him to Bama. It’s trob and and Saban coaching db’s that’s gonna get him there.
Not saying that Bama isn’t gonna put some extra sweetener in the coffee but it’s definitely gonna be coaching.
