Many LSU sites are reporting Raymond is gone...Asking Miles to bump his paycheck to keep this elite coach and recruiter in Baton Rouge...Know he has Savion from IMG coming this year along with two other DB studs...Noticed that Donnie Abraham has been coaching up these 5/4 star DB's at IMG and thought he might fit in Coral Gables if Raymond doesn't pan out...

He probably just wants to make as much as the kids he's recruiting are making from LSU.

Nah man. LSU only gives out McDonalds money and the occasional gas card. A leader of men once told me that.
 
L$U can outbid just about anyone. The one big advantage we have is that there is much more job security here. Miles could be gone after this season.
 
Dude, Abraham was coaching the high school down the street from me 2 years ago and they sucked. No way he's ready for a college job IMO. No credit for doing well at the H.S. level when you're loaded with 5 star DBs.
 
why do u want a hs coach anyways. frankly if don't get raymond, there is willie martinez, and other who would be a much better fit at db coach.

He makes around 300k right now.

You have to think Richt is offering at least the 600k Brown is getting.

I'm guessing its closer to $750k.

You must think the Miami gave Richt a blank check. Check how much LSU pays of their assistants. Unless Richt took a pay cut, we are not paying every coach over 600k.
