I hate to get ahead of myself especially before we play a single game but....I'm really starting to love Hetherman's philosophy. I've waited decades to hear our DC say the things that coach Hetherman just said about positionless defense. It's been a long time coming for that type of ability to think outside the box.

Agree, from everything I’ve read and heard Coach Hetherman is that kind of guy, with a philosophy to be flexible and adaptable and violent at the point of attack.Been a while since we’ve even sniffed that kinda defense. But, talking the talk ain’t walking the walk. But we will find out right quick on 8/31/25. Hopefully, so will ND,.. Go Canes

The Kool-Aid isn't even coming from D$ at this point, both coordinators and the head coach are using superlatives I personally prefer they shouldn't until they prove it on the field. But it is what it is.

Great news on Justine Scott, if he can live up to expectations, this’ll be the first time in a while we had a true DT with his size wrecking havoc in the middle. If Bain bounces back, with players like Blay, Lightfoot, Lowe, Bryant. Blount, we could be have a truly elite Dline with another impact DT
