Corey Heatherman: Year in Review by the Numbers

They killed us on that flood concept running the outside man vertical with a corner route underneath it. Guarantee we see that a lot on Monday. But as usual/always, the defense was good enough to win. That’s 15 games this year where our defense played well enough to win the game. It’s going to take me well into the off-season for me to fully comprehend what’s happened on that side this year.

By the way….did you see this??

Yes the time of possession was important.

Ole Miss also moved the ball with ease after Lucas got the b.s. targeting call. Averaged 8.4 ypp on their final 14 plays and scored 10 points. They went after Antoine a lot - whether in man or in his area in zone, and had a fair amount of success.

Outside of after Lucas targeting and the run fit bust (pause) they averaged 4.6 ypp on 45 plays, which is really, really good against that offense.

Good job Hetherman. One more time you psycho
I’m not in the excuse making mode but something felt a little off all night and the flu stuff actually made a lot of sense

I know a lot of people thought the seams were gonna break during that stretch

When the defense bowed up and held Ole Miss to 3 down near the goal line after that 90 yard drive it just felt like a huge win

40 plays for 167 yards in the first 3 quarters of the game if you take away the Lacy play

I know you can’t but that’s 10 seconds out of 45 minutes

Number 1 offense in the entire country that’s serious stuff

TOP- if we keep them under 100yards rushing and have a 33m or more TOP, we should win.

Looks like I was close.
Yep. I know we could find some faults and criticize and have some back and forth as a group but, that 4th quarter was wild because…well man that’s just college football. Seems to happen in almost every game

Add in the injuries and the illnesses I think it was a great job by the defense in general

Don't bring that evil in here.

after fletcher's first or second run for only 2-3 yards, i told everyone at the house "something is off with fletcher". on my word! he went down too quickly.

anyways, we won in spite thereof

I don’t think he uses traditional Olympic plates and bars

It’s like a big Woolly Mammoth femur bone with some skulls attached to it
Youre right brother.

Hes the type of freak that eats the meat from extinct animals that humans unearth from the North Pole still intact.

What makes him great, im sure. The power of Neanderthal cuisine runs through his veins.

Probably took a bite of the Peruvian alien mummy like the empire builders used to do with the Pharoahs.
