What is the bar for the university of Miami? You need elite rosters/talent to compete with the top dogs! You’re not gonna out coach Ohio state/UGA with rosters littered with 3 ⭐️ & low 4⭐️ players at key positions. The most elite X’O guy isn’t gonna stop Jeremiah Smith with a bunch of DJ Ivey level DBs

Let’s start with out coaching GT, Rutgers, Syracuse, Iowa State, MTSU…

The bar is not “better than Manny”, he’s touted as an elite recruiter yet left the defense bare last year wasting a generational offense.

Big year this year. ACC Title/Playoffs or bust.

I could careless about Manny, I wanted Mario here bcuz of his ability to acquire talent n ill admit while its been better then previous coaches its still short of truly Elite, Jaden Harris should NEVER be the starting safety at THE U. We'll see what transpires this szn but I agree that we enough to at least handle the ACC.

I mean if you really want to break that game down again, Miami held FIU under 300 total yards. The defense didn’t throw 3 picks or go 1-10 on third down but that’s not even the point.

If you’re going to make up excuses for Mario losing to Middle Tennessee, those same excuses apply to Diaz.

I’m not a Diaz fan by any means, but his **** show with him and Baker was still better than what we saw with Guidry last year.

Left the defense barely, huh... Interesting. Maybe CB was left bare because he built a generational offense. Surely in an era where money is limited building an elite unit couldn't lead to opportunity costs.

The difference between us blowing it and making the CFP was so incredibly slim (a game of inches!) that it is hilarious how y'all are reacting about last season. Would making the CFP have been viewed as a clear good to great season for us last year? Were we basically a coin flip away from making the CFP? Shot of you literally just swapped our Syracuse loss with the Florida loss on the schedule, Id bet money we still make the CFP lol.
