Like I said then I’ll say it now, before Mario was hired I even said it. Saban loses and any **** HC loses with that first year roster. Some people thought you change the HC and you win instantly. Not with what the previous staffs brought in. No one wins with that just like Saban lost to L Monroe year one at bama. Same ****. You need an elite roster

I don't care who we have now or what happened before. Diaz didn't evaluate well and recruited based on stars. His defense ignored the backfield and relied on chaos up front. Once it was figured out, any advantage we had was lost. He might be a good enough coach for Duke, but they might be happy with mediocrity.
