Like I said then I’ll say it now, before Mario was hired I even said it. Saban loses and any **** HC loses with that first year roster. Some people thought you change the HC and you win instantly. Not with what the previous staffs brought in. No one wins with that just like Saban lost to L Monroe year one at bama. Same ****. You need an elite roster

Now explain away the other losses to unranked teams 2 and 3 years later.

Cause **** happens and it’s a slow build. This ain’t cfb 25 where everyone is a blue chip hit. And there is way more resistance in cfb then even 10-15 years ago. Way more teams recruiting elite players that want to win. We are getting better but we aren’t close, need future household names to keep picking UM. If our Sunday talent is *** that means it’s ***

It doesn't take every blue chip to hit to beat teams that have maybe 1 blue chip sign in 3 years.

Mario Isnt going to coach his way to victories with mediocre talent, don't know y ppl expected him to come in and take mannys jag filled roster to the promised land...Mario was brought here to raise the talent level n hopefully CEO his way to a Natty Ed Orgeron style..
