LOL, you and your conspiracy theories every recruiting season. What makes you think Cook's heart is in Miami? Everything would indicate the opposite. The dude committed to Clemson initially. After there he had USC and Texas as his top 2 for a short while before committing out of the blue to UF. And now that he's taking visits it's FSU with schools like Arkansas and Texas coming on strong again. Every single data point shows that the kid wants to get away. He may or may not be getting paid, but let's stop with this 'every top kid wants to go to Miami but the top schools buy them off' nonsense. It definitely happens, but you people apply that to every kid. In fact, I think family is the only thing keeping Cook in the state. Dude has appeared to want to go elsewhere from jump.

I don't know about the visit stuff but that is what the UF 'insiders' have been reporting as well. Grandma is apparently the key and she loves T-Rob because he's from Miami and thinks he'll be a great mentor to Dalvin. They apparently speak multiple times a day. But he's unsure about UF's offense as he should be which is why he's looking to FSU. The delay in his announcement was to get a feel for who UF's new OC is gonna be. I say FSU in the end.

Agree. I think he's given us a serious look and consideration because of Yearby, but in the end, I think he's going to FSU. Yearby told a scout reporter that Cook has been kind of secretive and realy quiet about things the last few days saying "Ill either be with you or I wont". IMO doesnt sound very good for us.

Ive NEVER said every kid wants to play here or stay home. In fact, most of the season, I have said it was clear Cook wanted to get away from Miami. And yet over the last week, it seems like he's tipped his hand some, with his closeness with Yearby, Darling, his parents wanting him here, his brother here. Like I said, I think his heart is here, but his head is probably elsewhere. IMO his head is at FSU, and that's where I think he will go.

I agree the comment about "taking care of fam" was stupid and made it sound like that's the only reason he would go to FSU. I got caught up in a stream of conciousness there. I dont think its the only reason he would go to FSU. But I do think there are other factors at play here, and I have said all along his head seems to be telling him to go elsewhere.
 
Never been optimistic about the kid coming here.

If he comes here, I'm ecstatic...but there's a reason I never watched his senior year film. No reason to get worked up about somebody we were never gonna get.

I guarantee the Miami coaches would come by less if she ripped a juicy Grandma fart next time they are at the house. Have you ever smelled a Grandma fart? My Grandma died 5 years ago and I still can't get over the smell.

Him walking out of the UM/UF game had a MT no show to the BBQ feel to it. Now, I had hope when Yearby went down and he started taling and rocked his jersey at the game. But, that's gone. Now, his grandma is another thing. Golden ought to offer her a scholie and put her at safety. She's got her mind right.

Good point on the walking out of the UM/UF game.

He hasn't been at UF since July either and just recently visited FSU. I legit think if it wasn't for family he wouldn't even stay in-state. The kid has just been nonchalant about the Big 3 all year for the most part. Its why I've had him pegged to go elsewhere from the time he committed to UF, he didn't seem all that interested even while committed.
 
I still laugh about whoever made the Mama Collins account on last years signing day. I'll be disappointed if there's not a Gramma Cook account this year.

I thought he lived with his dad according to Cook's moms. Maybe it's Granny's house and Cook's dad and Cook just live there. But Cook's mom said he lives with his dad.
