Absolutely dumb statement They are #1 in country and These are not Old man Bowden's kids anymore when he was old and still trying to run team. They might have 1 1000 yard back and 3 1000 yard receivers all well usually playing not much more than 1/2 the game. Wish we had Jimbo. Class act and a winner. We will unfortunately have to deal with him for many years.

It was grandma that accompanied Dalvin on official visits to Texas, Florida and Florida State. She skipped last weekend's visit to UM, though.

"I'd met the Miami coaches more than enough, didn't need to go," she said.

Betty says Cane coaches were at her house three times last week and that Micheal Barrow is taking another trip to the home tonight.

"One of Miami's biggest questions was do I want him to stay close to home," Betty said. "I told them `No, him close to home doesn't matter.'"

Still don't think she'll have that much influence on his decision.

Yeah, she wants what's "best for him" and went to Texas, Florida, and FSU, but she couldnt take a tour of the UM campus to see what the school has to offer her Grandson, the classrooms, facilities, campus, dorms, academic support programs, athletic complex, etc?? LMAO.

And yeah, its all cool, and everyone is even, but when she talks about FSU coaches, its all how nice they are, Miami? "Id met the Miami coaches more than enough".

Sorry but after all the years Ive been following this, this seems pretty obvious to me.

Where did the thought she was a big factor in his recruitment originate? Seems she's indifferent where he goes and just wants it to be over.

I maintain what I said earlier, if Cook himself didn't want all the attention, he would not have signed the papers.

He could also tell them to stop. I doubt they would forcefully come over.

Y'all ni&&@s dumb as fck. Do you really expect an older person, who are set in their ways, to be cool with company every time you look around? Always having to clean up and look presentable when all you want to do is chill out and watch tv??? I have a black grandma and I can tell you that my grandma would have said the same exact thing! That lady said that with a smile on her face as she is merely saying that Miami is trying hard as **** to get her grandson and that "it doesn't take all that". .. That Dalvin can go to Miami because it what everyone- including Dalvin- wants. That's why she didn't feel the need to go with Dalvin to UM,because there is already a comfort level and familiarity with the idea of Dalvin going there. So y'all dumb ******* need to chill out with all the "pay for play" bullshizz, sh@t's disrespectful like a ****. Most older black people would never take illegal money and damned sure wouldn't encourage their grand kids to do so. And newsflash, dumb fcks, not all black kids from south Florida are poor and in need of a piddly *** handout of $20k. Stop disrespecting this man people, he's already chosen his school and I believe that it will be UM. Just chill the fck out and let the kid have his space.

then why is he bringing her on all the trips??? he must value or want her input. love duvalcane's post. I think she has an input in the decision but he makes a few great points.

Its unbelievable how many people these kids have in their ears. Family, coaches, hangers on, etc. Gotta feel for these kids. A decision that should be solely theirs gets muddied by the wants and desires of others. At the same time some of them bring it on themeslves with all the games they play and drama they seek.
