Congratulations to Braxton Berrios!!! WOW!

Fake news. I was told just being an average student is impossible due to the time commitments required to play football and that all these guys are only majoring in "football".

Congrats to Berrios and congrats to all the guys that got degrees yesterday. We have one of the highest graduation rates in college football and have been devoid of academic scandal while being a top 50 national university. Good stuff.

Brains and Cane! He's done now, but kids with this level intelligence don't play recruiting games because they are going to college to earn a degree through playing football.

That is what it is all about. Canes fans should be more impressed with a player's intellectual achievements than what he does on the field. A small percentage of college players make the NFL. But when a player excels in class it is an accomplishment that will offer him the opportunity to be a success for a lifetime. Congratulations Braxton, you are a credit to the the U.

Braxton is what a student athlete is supposed to be. He will make far more money after football than he ever would with an NFL career.

Hopefully Berrios goes on to ascends to billionaire status and becomes Miami's major benefactor, contributing millions to school and athletic program to keep Miami competitive throughout millennia.

I would not be surprised if he doesn't make the UM Sports HOF someday for his on and off the field accomplishments. Don't count him out for an NFL job either. He will do well at the combine and impress with his character and brain.

This is the type of player that you would like to see go to the NFL and become president of the NFLPA like Eric Winston
