Congrat to my fellow Heat Fan .....

You guys definitely are gonna make a push 2nd part of the season...gotta take the cavs coming outta the east though

No doubt Cavs are the faves...and they should be.

But Riley took what could have been a horrible situation and has more than made the best of it. Compare post Lebron Cleveland to post Lebron Miami....it's an education in how winners react to bad situations.

We should take the entire UM administration, lock them in a room with no food or water, and just force them to sit and watch Pat Riley motivational speeches for weeks at a time.

Great point. Pat Riley really is a shining example of someone who is a winner. I don't think he could be any more opposite of Golden.

well this is a short lived celebration. Bron must have put some voodoo on the heat to make sure they wouldn't be a threat to his homecoming story this season

Should've signed Bledsoe in off season but good pickup

This.

Here's the thing with Bledsoe. He is represented by LeBron's agent. The Heat had just lost LeBron to the Cavs after being "led" to believe by LeBron's agent that Miami had a chance, which they actually did not. After that fiasco, Pat was like forget LeBron and his whole camp which includes Bledsoe and Norris Cole.

Fair point.

Dragic was obtained through a trade and will get the bird exception. With Bosh and Wades massive contracts itll be hard to max out another player and pay a supporting cast. Lebron lured players in to play for less, Bledsoe doesn't. It would be a colossal waste of money to max another player against the cap.

As a free agent, Bledsoe would've cost 13 mil against the cap. That's Luol Deng and Josh McRoberts

Thanks for the feedback. Makes sense.

I just knew the Heat needed a PG, and Bledsoe was the best guy available this past summer. But this Dragic deal seems like the better long-term plan.
