Confident Malik Rosier

I wont neg you. But I will remind you these guys are barely out of high school. And like it or not, they are our Miami Hurricanes. Hard for me to understand how we call ourselves fans, but yet turn our back on our players because of a bad stretch.
Its a new season,..give him a chance before you go chalking him/season up as a failure!

*** that noise, neg him...welcome to the Thunderdome!

just find a way to give me +6% accuracy and get back to that "First 2/3 of the season" TD/INT ratio and we are in serious, serious business.

I want to believe but I re-watched the UNC game last night.

I do expect him to improve but still think he’s going to be a sub 60% passer.

Odds are 58-60 is the window, he’ll never be accurate. Just stay away from the 44% games.

i'm not a huge fan of rosier, but some of you guys need to go rewatch the pitt game. that loss is squarely on the oline. zero running game and pressure in the backfield all day. sure, if rosier was mayfield or watson we win, but the oline that day, like most, was straight garbage.

IF he has improved that much, we're going to shock everyone. Including Clemson. Going to be a long 2 weeks.

Don’t need to be a 60% passer, this board has an affinity with fake standards that don’t mean anything. You can throw 60% and still suck just ask Kaaya.

After rewatching some of last years games I realized Malik can do more then just manage the game. He made some big time throws last season. He's capable. Just has to cut out the head scratchers and be more consistent. I think he can. Add what he can do with his legs and you potentially have a very good college QB.

He just needs to put it all together. If he takes that next step, watch out because we are loaded.
This is correct . Malik can be a 2nd team ALL ACC type player if he is consistent . Just don't make too many dumb plays . Every one makes them but don't make the 2nd and 3rd in the same half as that is what he did last season . he would let one bad throw lead to another to another ect. When he was hot he was great when he was not he was really not.

All i needed to know about rosier is this, for coach richt to tell him "you'll never play for me" and than he didnt transfer, stayed, and than has basically made coach richt eat his words and become a believer in him, and knowing coach richt, he waa serious as can be when he said it. So to see rosier earn the job over guys coach richt brought in to take his job tells you alot about who we got at qb. Keep in mind, this guy started a whole season for the first time in this offense and had a very strong year stats wise and now going into his third year in this offense, his 2nd year starting, and he's healthy, we got a real chance to do big things this year. Remember rosier made some superb throws last year.

And we got enuff seasoned talent around him now except tightend so this offense will be feared, especially if we stay healthy, d-co's are going to start losing sleep.

In alot of games I watched we had guys running wide open everywhere. Hopefully this seeing the field stuff is true & he hits them.

Can we give it a rest? There's a few village idiots that would kick this dead horse even if Rosier won the Heisman.

A quick reminder: In the past dozen or so years there hasn't been a QB in program - other than the one named Rosier - who won 10 or the Coastal. Or one who did it with an average to below O-line, AND missing the top 3 offensive weapons.

Accuracy? I'll take him pumping the crowd up with his arms just before hitting that long pass and beating FSU - you know, something that hasn't happened in a while.

As we saw in the spring, none of those other guys you mutton heads have been calling for, were close to being ready. The best Q in the program is leading the team - live with it. And stick to your day jobs, because you aren't quite the QB coaches you fancy yourselves.

One tangible thing I notice is that he’s definitely shortened his release

Of course, bullets haven’t started flying yet

Nope not getting excited.
