Confident Malik Rosier

I suspect if the redshirt rule for this year had been in effect last year, you would not have seen Rosier playing in a Cane uniform again unless he stayed this year as a backup.

Nonsense, Perry wasn't ready, He was barely cracking 40% during the QB battle, He was #3 for a reason.

It’s easy to look good in practice.

Well if it was so easy, why are the other QBs struggling? Wasn't easy last year when Rosier was barely cracking 50% and still won the job.

I'm late to this party but has a lack of confidence ever actually been an issue with this kid? It's all just based on the eye-test and trying to read body language but he never seemed to get as mentally rattled as his recent predecessors at that position here.

Now that doesn't mean he's been consistent but I think people just too often conflate inconsistency with a lack of confidence.

Glad he worked hard on his game. Sounds like he’s improved. Anxious to see it on the field 🙌🙌🙌
Malik is our starting QB.

I'm rolling with him....
So to see rosier earn the job over guys coach richt brought in to take his job tells you alot about who we got at qb. Keep in mind, this guy started a whole season for the first time in this offense and had a very strong year stats wise and now going into his third year in this offense, his 2nd year starting, and he's healthy, we got a real chance to do big things this year. Remember rosier made some superb throws last year.

And we got enuff seasoned talent around him now except tightend so this offense will be feared, especially if we stay healthy, d-co's are going to start losing sleep.
That's wishful thinking that people are going to shut up after we beat LSU.

LSU doesn’t have the offense to keep up with our horses and honestly; we should win that game comfortably.
After rewatching some of last years games I realized Malik can do more then just manage the game. He made some big time throws last season. He's capable. Just has to cut out the head scratchers and be more consistent. I think he can. Add what he can do with his legs and you potentially have a very good college QB.

I'm sure he will give me plenty of opportunities over the season to say how bad a qb he is. Positive reviews in offseason, give me a ******* break. We have seen many greentree heroes **** the bed. Absolutly can't win it all with him taking snaps.

This post got negged to death at the time but rose from the grave like Uma Thurman in Kill Bill.

Don’t need to be a 60% passer, this board has an affinity with fake standards that don’t mean anything. You can throw 60% and still suck just ask Kaaya.

Not so hard to believe he could take a huge step forward in his second year starting.

Honestly, if he can get his completion percentage into the 60s, couple that with his running capability and the offense will be **** good.

LoL, than Jahir jones haapened, than my mahoney has a first name happened, than navaughn moving to right tackle happened, than irvin getting hurt happened, than Ahmon getting hurt happened, than louis at right tackle happened, that's a whole lot, than other receivers not stepping up happened, like jt4 on his intermediate routes, nobody took over at the slot position like berrios did. The receiving crew from last year and the year before that was light years ahead of the crybaby crew we have here now, we had high level receiver play last year with rosier, this year, it just wasnt their, with rosier, when he has talent around him, he can execute, he proved that.

You could just admit that you were completely wrong about Rosier but to each their own.

Did rosier help us win 10games last year by luck or did it actually happen. He had not outlet receiver this year, last year he had berrios and herdon to rely on, that's at least around 1000yrds that didnt get replaced by some of the 2017 & 2018 crybaby brigade, and add jt4 half azzing it, Truefreshmen tightends, when irvin went down i was concerned more for him than when Ahmon went down cause our blocking would suffer even more. So when you factor all that in, and once cager started drawing teams 2nd best db's, it was a wrap.

We won in spite of him. Yeah it was nice we beat FSU with his throw but what about the other 50 minutes of that game? UNC game was closer because of him. **** he almost single handily almost blew us the VT game with his horrific 2 INT before the half.

The only game where he "won" us the game was ND because he didn't make any stupid *** throws and the defense made Notre Dame cower into their own rectums

Listen, im not saying rosier is some great qb, he has many limitations, which is why coach richt told him out the gate "he would never play for him" but he ended up earning the starting spot, and helped us get to 10 wins. The V-tech game he did a great job in helping us get that early momentum. One of those picks was a big reason why jt4 is not here cause he was loafing on that in route, which he's been known to do as a sophmore on the intermediate routes. Every pass cant be a deep ball or widereceiver screen. Might point was rosier had proven you could actually win with him. Would i had prefered if brad kaaya had stayed, of course, that would've given perry & cade, more respect for the qb position, its hard for guys to respect a guy who they think is not that good.

Ball getting tipped by a DB and it landing in the receivers lap as he’s laying on the floor is exactly how Mork drew it up. Executed perfectly by the QB. Not luck.
