Confident Malik Rosier

▪ Malik Rosier played well in Saturday night’s scrimmage, as Robert Knowles told Canesport’s Matt Shodell at a UM community service event on Sunday. “He’s way better, great - he’s looking safeties off, executing well, throwing the ball excellent with good accuracy,” Knowles said. “He’s way better from last year.”

I wish I wouldn't have watched this. Only my head is left above Kool aid.

If you didn't watch any games last year and looked solely at numbers, and then watched that video, you would have to say something like "****, that's everything you want in a qb".

I watched the games though.

If he just improves a little without the jeckyll and Hyde stretches we’ll be just fine. Just consistency and manage the show.

After rewatching some of last years games I realized Malik can do more then just manage the game. He made some big time throws last season. He's capable. Just has to cut out the head scratchers and be more consistent. I think he can. Add what he can do with his legs and you potentially have a very good college QB.

He just needs to put it all together. If he takes that next step, watch out because we are loaded.

Rosier is ready to carry us to the cfb playoffs this year... sounds like a future Heisman contender.

September 2 will provide all the information I will need to see if Malik has improved or not. Hope he shuts a lot of people up (myself included) an balls out.

That's wishful thinking that people are going to shut up after we beat LSU.

He has been dead to me since Pitt. It sucks that our starting qb is the least talented of the three.(left Weldon out) even coach admits it's the mental aspect of the game of why he is starting. To bad Kosi is taking so long to pick it up.
Neg away.

Awww poor thing is mad bc Rosier is getting positive news about his play over the entire offseason so that was one last bit of **** to throw against the wall that you could come up with?? lol I heard crying helps

I'm sure he will give me plenty of opportunities over the season to say how bad a qb he is. Positive reviews in offseason, give me a ******* break. We have seen many greentree heroes **** the bed. Absolutly can't win it all with him taking snaps.

Although I so badly want to drink the kool-aid, as of now I remain only cautiously optimistic. Not so hard to believe he could take a huge step forward in his second year starting.

Honestly, if he can get his completion percentage into the 60s, couple that with his running capability and the offense will be **** good.

Agree. He made alot of good throws last year. He just also made A LOT of bad throws too. There is no way he would have piled up the yards and TDs he did with all the bad plays and low completion percentage, if he didn't have a lot of positive film too. And coaches have pointed out all along that he's our best QB when it comes to making the correct decisions in the game. Just like you said, he has to clean up the head scratchers.

I wont neg you. But I will remind you these guys are barely out of high school. And like it or not, they are our Miami Hurricanes. Hard for me to understand how we call ourselves fans, but yet turn our back on our players because of a bad stretch.
Its a new season,..give him a chance before you go chalking him/season up as a failure!
