If a kid graduates in May, how on earth can the NCAA stop him from going to grad school at another program? Collective bargaining might freeze undergrad transfers within portal windows. But we don't have that, so I can't understand how the NCAA can bind any kid to a program. And the NCAA can't go after the colleges, either, since that's collusion to prevent a kid's right to transfer. No lawyer, just seems improbable the NCAA can enforce anything under the current framework.

Agreed - and the NCAA may be good with these rules, but it should be noted these suggestions are not actually coming from the NCAA but committees made up of coaches and school administrators.

I wonder if coaches are using AI to develop new plays? How about AI to call plays? Will coordinators one day get replaced by AI? Head coaches for that matter - call TOs, game management, etc.

You can bet your last dollar that Curt Cignetti is using AI to build the offensive playbooks of 130 other Division I-A schools...

One committee. What, a dozen people?

Sooooo, still a minority of coach/administrative voices. And possibly dominated by the more butthurt voices.

This is exactly what the NCAA has wanted all this time. Government to step in and give them back control of the very system they benefited on for years while selectively punishing schools and overlooking others.

NIL haters Saban and the biggest POS of them all, Urban Meyer, are on the committee.
could evolve invitee wise but didnt see one current FBS CFB player or HC onthis (yes i know its all sports but those guys represent the elephant in the room that is causing the downstream chaos)
