No insider or expert by any means, but I wholeheartedly expect UM to be in a different conference home by the 2027 football season ('28 at the very latest). The only potential holdup imo is a collapse (either by legal or political means) of the rev share model

Out of curiousity, when do you need to ANNOUNCE by to play in 2027 season in a new conference?
 
I don't buy any of these Big12 or message board "sources", all the predictions are obviously from the lens of a Big12 football fan, that's the reason why FSU is always on a pedestal and at the top of these lists. They look at programs based on what they're doing recently, yet will look at men's BB potential growth 30 years down the road to justify talking about Duke.

Call me biased, but I think FSU's best shot at the B1G is as our +1. Their program is toxic and their brand is regional. They'll fit fine in the SEC, IF the SEC even wants them, they might be a +1 for UNC there.

I long for the days when we just had cable TV and didn't have to have 27 different streaming services all with different user names and password requirements.

He plays both sides so when something finally happens he can say he predicted it.

The moment I knew he was full of **** is when he did his Miami breakdown post of issues in our programs, and prefaced it by thanking “FSU” people for informing him. Then he ****rode FSU, blew up in his face, and now has 1/3 of the traffic he used to have because people realized he was full of ****.

Miami is going to go 6-6-ish this season, but very well could go 12-0.

I'm a man of firm convictions.
