According to some Miami is spending at the apex of NIL and frankly are only succeeding because of the cash we are throwing around no one else can

Also according to some were at a disadvantage because we're not in X/Y conference and will never reach the promised land because of this

Both points cannot exist simultaneously

The ACC and Big 12 and PAC-x are outsiders looking in.

Miami's most important issue is joining the $EC or more likely, the B1G.

I know. I just never get the assumption some have that Miami "owns" the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale/WPB TV market alone. Like there are no Florida or FSU fans down here.
 
Trying to be nice, but not sure those guys have any real contacts. If we keep committing to athletics, I have heard there is definite interest among the Big 10 crew. Granted my contacts are 2nd hand.

Also, I have read zero from the SEC and nobody seems to know anything about what they are thinking.

We would go go big 10 not big 12. They act like Syracuse GA Tech NC state and smu can’t play in big 12. Clemson has fallen off a bit but if fsu gets a real coach the conference will get better. I don’t know why they don’t go all out for ND in football but I honestly think we win up in big 10 at some point.

The mega conference thing is getting lame. Just do away with conferences then. It’s ruining traditional rivalries.

I wouldn’t take much stock into the Locked on Big 12 theories. This dude said last week that a private equity firm was giving the Big 12 the money to fund FSU’s $75MM exit fee to leave the ACC. Here’s the kicker - FSU would then go to the Big TEN, not the Big 12, but the Big 12 would do this because it would help them undermine the ACC.

It just gets me how none of these CFB content creators understand that private equity firms work. And that they will want their investment back. The whole theory is so laughable.

If yall think ACC refs cheat Miami …Oh boy with the way SEC darling UGA was just *****ing about Miami paying Cantwell. Miami would get absolutely sabotaged in the SEC/Big10.

Miami doesn’t need a conference to get attention. We just got the #1 recruit in the country and got the most controversial qb in the portal. Miami is rising and will be in all conversations good or bad.

It’s easy to say the ACC/Big 12 should hard line the P2, but that doesn’t work well when you have zero leverage. If they don’t take the two auto bids in the new format, the P2 will for sure pilfer off every half decent brand left and kill both conferences for good. What’s better, to be at the rear of the pack, or out of the race altogether?
 
The paranoid/conspiracy theorist side of me …thinks there is a united effort to keep miami out of both the B1G and the SEC so that the school can slowly fade into obscurity and the fertile recruiting pool is theirs for the taking completely
