If we continue the upward trajectory, the Big 12 knows it has no chance.

I don’t see Florida, Georgia, or Alabama allowing us into the SEC since one of the major reasons we lose recruiting battles to them is because of the it just means more conference crap.

Big10 makes more sense.

I think the conference and the school is in wait and see mode…play out a couple more years and we’ll evaluate then.

Consistently in the playoffs and win a title then we’ll have to pay big bucks.

Continue to struggle in the ACC especially against teams like Georgia tech then maybe we’ll take you at a massive discount.

The Miami to Palm Beach is the 6th largest metro tv market in the US.
FSU and Clemson do not come close. If we can maintain relevance in the football world, it is a no brainer decision. TV markets rule, brand names come in second, and we have that too.

You could merge it into the Mega conference realignment thread, but you are better off deleting it because it is just wrong. False. Untrue.
 
FWIW FSU as of 2020 had 48,830 alumni in PB, Broward and Miami-Dade combined.
That’s only 7000 more than reside in Leon county and in a combined population of 6 million people.
