Don't you think everyone knows Texas can't do that with all of 3 months till the start of the season?

If TT wants to let their balls hang, publicly offer to play a home and home with Texas in 2030 and 2031 when they next have a OOC opening.

Leaving the ACC out of this for a second ...

Wouldn't you rather have 10 conference games if we're in the SEC or B1G than filler like Central Michigan and FCS teams taking up 15 to 25 percent of the home schedule?

Cupcakes to ensure bowl eligibility is irrelevant at this point.

The regular season is only 12 games. Why not have every one against a team that's reasonably trying to compete at somewhat the same level?

I thought transfer rights were based on state not metro. I mean NY city. could give a **** about college football. Most of the BIG team are not in major media markets. Even South Florida is broken up into two media markets. And the largest is ranked in the bottom quarter of the top 20. On a market share basis, SEC has 3 of top 10. Birmingham number 1.

Mississippi ranked number one believe it or not. Education systems throughout the country are declining big time because education is not the goal. It's indoctrination.

NYC is a big CFB market. It's just that its viewers aren't watching teams from the NYC area. But there are millions are people that live there that went to college at CFB schools, still watch, and the data backs this up (might be somewhere already in this thread).

miami does 2 city locations for watch parties, UF has one, Michigan has a few Michigan bars up there, etc.

Yeah, I lived up there from 2007-2010 when I was in law school. Everyone had a different bar. I remember going to Copper Monkey for UM games, but I think they've changed it? UF was Gin Mill back then, because that was also one of my law school's bars. I also remember a Penn State bar or two, but I know there were many more. Saturdays were so much fun.

I said conference size is making the move to 10 conference games pretty much a requirement. I want every P4 school to play 11 P4 games. My concern with 10 conference games is how do deserving teams in conferences with negative media bias get to show they belong without OOC games against the P2?

Yes, if Miami gets into the $EC or B1G, great, they don't have to worry about it. I'm concerned about the good of the whole sport as well though. I don't think the consolidation into 2 gigantic conferences is good for the game overall. I want champions to be determined on the field as much as possible and in as fair a system as possible with as little effect of media bias as possible.

So many ways to make college football better.
