No, I am in North Georgia.

And maybe, maybe not. They aren’t guaranteed to get into the SEC, and the FSU/UM game might still bring more money than many of those games.

There is indeed a Gainesville in North Georgia!

I don’t live there either. But not far from there. 😉

I’ve explained this before, but the SN was made many, many years ago when I was in grad school at UF. Perhaps where it says “Recruit” under my name, I should put “No longer located in Hogtown.” But as I recently told the Gator Tears thread, I do somewhat like to remain a (wo)man of mystery.

Or just let them think you mean Gainesville, GA. It's the internet, you can be anyone, anywhere. For instance, I'm about to dock my yacht at Marina Ibiza, but my IP location is still South Florida.

Didn’t Stanford win the Directors’ Cup 25 years in a row and finish 3rd in 2024-2025?

So your argument is that excellence in non-revenue "Olympic" sports, which require minimal outlays for facilities and coaches and players, should override a lack of vision and investment in 3 or 4 REVENUE sports, which require far bigger budgets for facilities and coaches and players?

Remind me to never hire you for any kind of job in athletics administration. Yeah, a bunch of "Directors Cups" have turned Stanford into The Cradle of Athletic Directors...yeah, Ted Leland and Bob Bowlsby and Bernard Muir are some real visionaries...
