But you are right. This needs to be done, or plans need to be started. If they are going to keep growing the student population the way they are, then the expansion of additional sports could and SHOULD happen, and that’s why we need a real, full-time AD. One who lives in the same state. It’s not 30 years ago where we had an undergrad population of 4500 students and they still bragged about Greg Louganis at my freshman orientation.

It is still beyond insane that Miami doesn't have a mens golf team. Even Stetson has one (and a beautiful practice facility just built 2 years ago).

Until the move to the BigTen is finalized, and more revenue brought in, you can bet that no new sports will be added, as it’s a guarantee they’ll be cash flow negative.

The men's golf team was cut in 92. They had a team for like 60 years. They still have a women's team. The Biltmore is their home course. Yes, it is surprising how many sports they still don't have.

Closest we got was a football team trip to Top Golf and an in depth search to see if JD Arteaga has a sister to coach the whiffle softball team.

The saga of how UM has lasted this long without a real, live Athletic Director - basically since Paul Dee - is absolutely insane.

And people openly wonder what went, and continues to go wrong.
 
All power conference schools should be required to sponsor women's teams in basketball, softball, volleyball and soccer.

Group A: Miami is working behind the scenes playing 4-D chess, I promise - 2024, 2025, 2026, 7...

Group B: Did I catch a 9er in there Tommy Boy. Rad is asleep, the admin has been atrocious and you've been wrong for 4 years... so yea... we will know we are headed to the B1G when Trinton Breeze posts 7 threads on it and D$ posts the Fort Knox thread/pod/article
