One of my biggest gripes about this year. Mizzou and Tennessee were consistently ranked despite having not a single good win, all to prop up the rest of the SEC.

Whole CG system is broken. You have undefeated #1 vs #2, but it's a meaningless game because both will still get byes in the playoff, because they changed the bye rule after Boise last year. Then there is the SEC and ACC absurdity.

I think even if they’re the 2 seed it’s the same discussion. You’re not taking Alabama from IN to OUT based off what happened in a game they earned their way into. Not when OU and Ole Miss and A&M get to sit home and be in no danger when they didn’t earn their way into the game.
