Georgia isn’t capable of scoring enough points in this game for that to happen.

This was it. It will be #9 ND, #10 Bama and #11 Miami.

Agreed, Miami would have been one and done with that D. Bama would have been too though losing to terrible Vandy and Oklahoma teams.

My point was the committee has already ruled that ACC wins are not more important than SEC losses so why expect things to change this year?
 
Getting in the playoff over Bama would be great. Watching @TheOriginalCane take victory lap (really really long victory laps) after victory lap over each and every one of us would be delightful

On the flip side, if Alabama lost and BYU lost… they could have just not dropped either and kept the buffer that way and explained it as they’re not moving idle teams over teams playing for a conf championship.

All calculated and every basis was covered.. aside from a BYU upset and an Alabama win. That was the only way and it took the call out of their control to leave out ND.

Something else no one discussed was Alabama winning, and then ND being compared to Oklahoma and jumping Oklahoma because they’re only ahead of Alabama due to the H2H. Winning the SECCG allows them to jump and push Oklahoma down closer to where they belong. There’s another card they could have played if they needed to.

Or they can move us to 10 because of H2H and just keep Bama at 9 based on bama’s strength of schedule and already beating Georgia.

This is not like BYU where they already got blown out by Texas Tech.

You can arguably punish byu by dropping them a spot because of the previous loss.

Sure if they want to **** us over they can do it that way but it would be so obvious.

The reason they move bama up was to protect them and put ND in harms way with the H2H because they know Miami should be ranked over them.
