Conference Championship Saturday

It was clear this is what they knew would happen. Moving Bama up for their pitiful performance over Auburn gave them both 1. A buffer for Miami and ND when BYU loses. Avoid that discussion at all costs and 2. Room for Alabama to fall a spot and still stay in. They can “drop” BYU and not look biased for not “dropping” Alabama.

If you think we’re jumping Alabama in any occasion or result in the 2nd half, get checked and get help. Won’t happen. Ever.

We’re headed to the Gator Bowl or the Poptart Bowl if Alabama doesn’t win this game.

This is a dream come true for the committee

Gator Bowl vs one of Texas/Vandy probably.

I’m with you here, sadly.

People can’t get it through their thick skulls but this is spot on. We need a miracle here or we’re screwed.

The funny thing is this committee loves talking about the eye test, bama easily could have lost 4 of their last five games, they have looked like **** for 2 months but it only matters for us I guess
“The committee talks about things when it suits their confirmatory bias narrative.

Like I said, they knew this was the most likely outcome. Bama has room to go to 10 and ND at 9 and you also avoid a rematch of Alabama/Oklahoma and ND/A&M.

It’s all strategic for what they want.

If they were forced to pick Miami or ND.. it might have been Miami. They made every move they needed to do, calculated, to avoid that conversation, even though it’s still a logical conversation regardless of these results.

you all know Miami isn't getting in right? I am here for the fun though, I'm feeding off the optimism and cracking another beer. I will switch to college hoops during half though

This sucks but par for the course. I wonder what the number is that actually drops Bama out. 28-0? I still think they’re in regardless.

Get ready for ND 9, Bama 10, and Miami 11 tomorrow. Unless this **** changes in the 2nd half. Just maximum sledgehammer to the sack pain. Standard.
A meteor can hit the stadium and wipe out both teams. They will still hold an honorary spot for Alabama. There’s no taking them out.

Last year a 9-3 Bama team was ranked ahead of a 10-2 Miami team. Why do you think they would keep out a 10-3 Bama team whose 3rd loss was in the SEC Championship game?
They haven’t looked good in 5 weeks, lost to FSU (who we beat), never has a 3 lost team made the CFP, but Georgia needs to win by 24+ to seal it. There’s a lot of momentum on Miami’s side with the media. Luck has to change eventually.
