Commish played this one well!
I'm trying to see it man, but they look pretty bad to my eye. Maybe it's just BYU. I think we would beat either of these teams by three scores.Keeping 100, there are two teams you would want to avoid during the playoffs. That’s Texas Tech and Miami. Trench play is elite from both of them. Especially on the defensive line
The B12 got an absurd benefit of the doubt this year.TT is a good team, but they don't look like the #4 team in the country. I don't think they're even a top 10 team based on what I see. There OL looks kind of weak.
I hope we get in because I think Miami can beat any team in the CFP.
It’s why pre season rankings matter as they prop up a schedule that is per analytics, a tough schedule.
Their out of conference games are hot garbage. Why are they ranked ahead of us? Smh
They’re already outside the rankings. Their only hope is winning.BYU should be out even with a close loss, especially if their QB has a bum ankle
BYU is #11. They are not in the field. Dropping them below us does nothing except put the better team in that spot. We’re not jumping BYU if they keep this game close. And frankly BYU is the one getting screwed if they are kept out after going 11-2 with a close conf champ loss. Just like not honoring H2H, leaving them out would be a bad precedent.
Sankey cares about one thing and one thing only: SEC supremacy. He doesn’t give a **** about the rest of CFB, which is why he’s threatened to start his own playoff if certain teams don’t get in. He’s a mob boss flexing his power.Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered. Sankey is a smart guy, maybe he realizes having nearly half the field be playoff teams makes it look like the SEC invitational and could lead the other conferences to try and make changes to the playoff system. SEC should be happy with 4 teams pretty much guaranteed every year. 5th team gets sacrificed to quiet the rabble.
Think it's tough to evaluate TTU because BYU is playing for their life while TTU is only motivated by securing a bye. big10 championship will be even weirder and harder to evaluate the teams since both are likely assured of a bye win or loseI'm trying to see it man, but they look pretty bad to my eye. Maybe it's just BYU. I think we would beat either of these teams by three scores.
keeping them at 11 after a close loss would just be another way for the committee to manipulate their rankings to keep us away from NDBYU is #11. They are not in the field. Dropping them below us does nothing except put the better team in that spot.
Saw that haha.ND 85% chance with BYU loss?![]()
BYU is playing with more energy, TT doesn't look physical. Especially, on offense. Their OL has a lot of holes. Their tackles can't bend. We would completely shut down their offense.I'm trying to see it man, but they look pretty bad to my eye. Maybe it's just BYU. I think we would beat either of these teams by three scores.

If you think he’s going to sit back and allow the #1 seed in the SEC to miss out on the playoffs because they played an extra game, you’re sorely mistaken.
