The accuser, can be charged criminally for filing a false police report if she made any statements to the Police. She is in deep trouble now.

so I took screen shots of the best video that shows before they come onto the field, the complete process.

and you can see, not one person is knocked down "Near the end zone". In fact, I put number outlines on the cop that ran between and watch it, even in #2 pointing to a person to stay away.

I am pretty sure if the cop would have seen something, there would have been stopped. In addition, the photos show multiple police officers throughout the entrance. I call formal bull****.

It just dawned on me how serious Sophie Randleman is already making this in the court of law. Because of the severity of the allegation and given that the State Police are already investigating, all those officers working detail in the vicinity are going to have to provide sworn affidavits. Nothing will come of it, but Randleman is basically saying the police stood by and were so ignorant that they did nothing.

If Sophie Randleman doesn't come out with a retraction and apology in the next 24 hours, I hope she ends up with some awful ambulance chasing lawyer that enables her down towards the pavement.

- Your Color Guard winner is another damaged snowflake who thinks if someone breathed near her, it's assault.

- Your AD, instead of bringing in the adults (let's see, band director, Dean of Students, Police Department, etc.) and demanding evidence, wimped out. If no evidence exists (which all indications are, there is none) you use your position and recommend to the University President to nip it in the bud or your band Color Guard will cost you big $$$$

- Yeah, BIG $$$$. Read a few posts up, I mentioned HB2. If that isn't enough of a deterrent to scheduling with your "university," the absolutely elementary school way this is being handled at App Store seals the deal. Better start looking through your old DII directory...You may have to take a chance and have DIII Mount Union come down, but then again, you might get beat by them. Don't forget defamation of character suits...Frivolous? Well you still have to pay lawyers to defend your "institution."

- 2020 game? Nah, UM will send you a check, we have real P5 universities to schedule.

Agreed. I was hoping to have some constructive conversation about the matter, and did briefly, but it's turned into fourth grade humor and stereotypes. I understand why your base is heated, and if this does turn out to be false, don't judge our university based on one person's actions. Again, I think your fans can appreciate that. Enjoyed meeting some of you last weekend. Everyone I met was a class act, as is the case with the majority of our fans. I wish y'all luck moving forward.

The rule is this...based off the fact that there was nothing found here, that it SHOULD be a wait and see attitude before you go into a diatribe about posting any information. Just because an allegation is made DOES NOT make it factual. I could say you did something to me for what ever reason...does that make it right? If anyone posts the fact that I made an allegation towards you without any confirmation that the incident has taken place then they are giving credence to BS? I see a lot of comments about Boone being a liberal, racist, hick town, in response to an individual's allegations. The people making these comments are as ignorant as someone the would make up this kind of story.

Appalachian and our fans were thrilled to have a program of your caliber come to Boone. I'm sure you had the pleasure of enduring a few of our fans talk trash on this board last week. Do they represent our entire fan base? No. Did our entire fansbase think we were going to win? No. If this girl is lying, does she represent our entire university? Of course not. So stop generalizing these situations.

If any fanbase should know about this, it would be yours. How many times has the actions of a few tainted the image of your proud university? How many times have you had to defend Miami to those that generalize it as Thug U? Don't be a hypocrite.

The truth will surface. Once it does the individual or individuals at fault will be punished. Let that process occur without painting a broad stroke.

That being said, every Miami fan I encountered on Saturday was respectful and conducted themselves with class. I will not let the words of some on this board change my opinion from this weekend.

Also, The UNC system, which all state universities are under, does not and will not by law comply with HB2. Might want to stick to four letter words and stuff like snowflake.

Here is a four letter word for you: DUMB...Used to describe your believe that any serious AD will try to finesse Mark Emmert's edict about HB 2 by saying North Carolina state universities comply with HB 2. Here is the real story Snowflake: The edict is an attempt to ECONOMICALLY PUNISH the state's voters for their representative's bill. As in motel/hotel proprietors, restaurant staff, Uber drivers, etc.

Combine that with your amateur hour stadium operations, Dingbat AD/administration, and newly discovered whininess and you have a winning combination that will produce VMI, James Madison and (If Blake James, even after this, puts in a good word for you) Maine as your "premier" out of conference opponents!

1. She should research the meaning of SLANDER/LIBEL and then hire a lawyer. She might need one.

2. WHY would the AD/band director have the color guard blocking the visiting teams entrance onto the field (what kind of bucket shop are they running?) What if one of the players had tripped over her & was hurt/unable to play? What was intent of such positioning of color guard??

3. There should be repercussions for posting libelous accusations with intent to slander with NO basis on social media. What's she's alleging is serious stuff & should have consequences.

I hope she is charged with some sort of crime for this. It's a slap in the face to our players and also to the kind of man Coach Richt is and the type of program he runs.

The reason this is still going the reason why a lot of us are so furious is because of the slanderous claims that were made. They were then posted to ESPN. For every action there must be an equal or opposite reaction. I doubt they will come out with a retraction. I doubt they will take any action against this "Sophie" character for her libel claims. THAT is why this thread is still going! I bet you anything I won't get a notification on my phone while I'm working saying she made the whole thing up. If anything it'll fade to black and still leave that article which was SENT DIRECTLY TO THOUSANDS OF PHONES stuck in the minds and further slander OUR SCHOOL, OUR TEAM! If anyone mocking this thread is going to personally take action against this student then I'm sure it would end. But the fact is that won't happen and she deserves to be expelled for these claims!
