Competition

Obvious answer is upshaw as he will slide into the slot I imagine. I think wingo outperforms (as he has all year) jacobs for the spot outside

This is a game where Lofton can feast in the flats and across the middle. Get the guy the ball and he will make plays especially when you consider ND's injury concerns at LB and safety.

Force Moore to come up and tackle Lofton outside then run Fletch and Mallory his way.
ND has actually done this well themselves, so i'd throw it right back at them. WR comes inside to seal a Safety or Nickel and CB is left one on one with RB. ND's gotten some chunks off this, but we can make a physical statement. We did this against TAMU. Bring back the pistol and WR inserts.

I see some people in here saying some of our young WRs are mid. How can you even make a judgement? Our WR2 (Barkate) has 45 less catches than Toney. 45! Upshaw has even less than Barkate. Writing them off already is so dumb. You have no idea how they are going to produce now that we have to redistribute all those targets. Get a grip on reality

We potentially have a really exciting wide receiver rotation for this game. Speed.

With Mali and Moore out, we could have moments in this game with Barkate, Spafford, and Jacobs all on the field together. That is 3 elite speed wide receivers at the same time. ND has not seen anything like that.
